Lauren Faust does more than just My Little Pony! Besides awesome work on shows like Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, she's also developed a line of toys/potentially a show called "Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls". It's just character bios and pictures over on the website ([link] ) so far, but I'm hoping they make it into an animated series at some point.

Anyway, here's my take on my favorite Galaxy Girl: The Moon. From the website description: "The Moon's emotions change as surely as the tide. They ebb and flow, wax and wane. Though her mood swings can be unpredictable, this girl's emotional lunar cycle is the foundation of the most exquisite poetry you could imagine!"

Made with 3b and 8b pencils and a few Prismacolors. (I couldn't find my white though! Grr.) I know her eyes are wonky. I spent way too much time on her hair and decided to throw it up here without fixing them. I also gave her PPG style hands because I'm lazy. Sorry :/
