I love this song so much. ;_; It gets to me so bad and makes me feel really down, but I can't stop listening to it.
I love Doug Rattmann. I love his scrawlings and dens. I love his 'talking' companion cube.
Hell, there isn't a thing about this game that I don't love.
I tried really hard on this. It didn't come out quite as I'd imagined but I'm still proud of it. I used a spattered paint texture ([link] ) from ~insurrectionx .

I feel so bad for Doug throughout the games, especially the first one. And then there's the comic about him. Poor guy! I wonder (if they make another Portal game) if we'll see more of him, because at the end of the comic he puts himself into a stasis pod, so it's possible he's still alive.

I, of course, am strongly inclined to say that Wheatley is my favorite Portal character (out of the four who actually speaks, if you don't count our lovely Rat's mumbling in the Dens) but I think that Rattmann is the most fascinating of them all. I just wish he would appear in Portal 3!!!
(Ahem, of course, if I ever walked into one of the Dens and actually SAW Rattmann...I'd think I'd have a heart-attack....)
