Description
So for my GCSE Graphic Products coursework I decided to redesign Damien Rice's album '9' using my own themes and interpretation...

I chose the theme of elephants/safari mixed in with my own random scribblings and came up with this artwork which I made by drawing the basic outline of the design, scanning this into the computer and then painting in the indivudual areas of colour on Microsoft Paint (took AGES, I wouldn't recommend it unless you've got weeks to spare!). Then I printed them off, went over the design and added in detail with a black biro and then scanned them back into the computer. I was going for the handmade feel with these designs so I'm happy with how they turned out!

Some of the designs look blank as a lot of them were being used for the album booklet and for the back cover of the CD, so I needed to leave room for the writing and I wanted the drawings to wrap around the text nicely. These are the original designs before I added any of the writing, they look a million times better on my final product I can assure you!
