The door swung open, silently in defiance of the nearly three millennia it had stood closed and unused, and the light that shone forth from the antechamber illuminated motes of dust stirred up from the air currents flowing through the opening. Inside lay one of the treasure caches of the wizards of the Age of Dreams, with who knew what secrets just waiting to be discovered, all neatly stacked on shelves and in boxes. That the lights were not torches, and that they still worked all these thousands of years later was a surprise lost in the face of the discovery of artifacts that had not been seen by man since before the Schism.
