Description
Rather than go into self-exile at the behest of his mother, Myghchaell chooses to stay in his mountain homeland, spending what remains of his life working to atone for that which he can't forgive himself for. The years wear on him harsher than expected, and it's not long before the cream accents of his fur crawl along the rest of his body to mingle with the gray of age, giving him a ghostly appearance. After his mothers eventually pass on from old age, he takes the crown and spends his twilight years in uncertainty. Collecting scars as he goes, he spends more and more time overlooking the perpetually frozen river, away from his duties as alpha. Winter rolls into the mountains as it always does, until one day he vanishes into the powdery snow and does not return...

Always hard to come up with alternate paths for characters when you've written their history very differently. I think this alternate ending for him is appropriate, even if it's not nearly as exciting and actually a hellovalot sadder! Good thing it's not reality.

Wanted to try out a more realistic style with this one, and keep things on the sketchy side as well. Used some of Aaron Blaise's fur brushes here, I really love them! But I'm not sure my main style really fits with them, haha.
