wow...do you have a tutorial for the line art O.O I want to make comics for a living but at the moment the thing that I have a real problem with is back grounds...I'd love to detail work like this some day but I just have no foundation for it yet....

perspective is all the real foundation you need. Start with making series of basic blocks then move on from then making more complex blocks each time.
