Neat looking stuff. Evocative of both Miyazaki and Moebuis.

do you have any advice for someone who wants to improve their environment art? i keep drawing them, but im hugely dissatisfied every time. i've been reteaching myself perspective and integrating that, but what about details in structures and things? recommend any websites or books?

well details are probably the least important part. The scene has to be well composed. id practice make lots of thumbnails no larger than 2 inches. then block out solid forms using lights and darks. an image can be refined and enlarged once figured out as a basic sketch or comp. id recommend any non dinotopia art book by james gurney
