I did this collaborative drawing for a number of reasons...1) To say thanks for getting me 1000 page views!
2) To help support Miku Hatsune getting an english dubbed voice by joining her Facebook page - [link]

3) Because I like to color any line art drawings I want to do!

It's not bad, even though I think you could improve your coloring by adding shadows and highlights (especially to the hair and eyes) o: The lineart is rather good though ^^

I can get the base colors down but not the shadows. I do need to improve on that. Any other advice you have?

I don't think I can help you any more, but I think paying attention to how people draw their stuff helps a lot, as well as practicing ^^
