Sparkster and the Rocket Knight Franchise certainly needs more love and attention. I prefer him over Sonic myself because... well, I never had a SEGA console but owned the SNES Spin-Off game, Sparkster, on the SNES, and loved it to bits. I also played the MegaDrive/Genesis games and the 2010 Reboot game and I find more appeal in this Franchise than I find in Sonic. I do like Sonic, but certain Character attitudes just don't roll with me. Sparkster was always down-to-earth and yet determined, he wasn't trying to be the wanna-be badass guy that was always grumpy looking (well the US cover did so, but not the JP/EU version or his Manual images). The stories were always simple but easy to understand, and it had a lot of humor. Not to mention that they used Opossums as the main animals. I love opossums! They're so misunderstood/hated for no reason. You ever saw the brown-eared woolly opossum or the mouse opossum? You'll die out of pure cutness! ;__;

Anyway. I love your artstyle you've used for it. Very lovely shot on the details of the armor and sword. The colors are very soothing on the eyes. Keep it up!

one of my favourite parts about the genesis version was the awesome music made for it. I do agree that Sparkster as a character was certainly more likeable then other characters of his era. I played a bit of the new one but I figure I should get a controller for it to get the real experience, but I loved what I did play of it because it felt like a proper Rocket Knights to me!

Oh yes, the eargasm music of the Rocket Knight games. How could you ever ignore that? The old Soundtracks were composed by Michiru Yamane, Aki Hata, Akira Yamaoka, Masanori Oouchi, Masanori Adachi, Hiroshi Kobayashi, Kazuhiko Uehara, Masahiro Ikariko & Minako Matsuhira, after all! All wonderful composers that knew what they were doing.

Aaaah... Rocket Knight (2010)... the black sheep of the franchise. Sadly. I don't get why people hate this game so much. I think Tomm Hulett did a great job on this late Sequel of the MegaDrive/Genesis Story Timeline. He told me that he even planned a Sequel where we're playing Sparkster's son as the next leader of the Rocket Knights. A shame that Konami doesn't give a damn about near all of their franchises, so we might never see anything new regarding Rocket Knight, Suikoden, Goemon, Twinbee, Contra etc. anymore.

It could be SUPER brutal, I could never beat it legit I could reach the start of the city I think with the rocket dodging and then the room with the moving floor but that was about it. Playing it with save states recently shows I was gonna be in for a REAL bad time
