Reminds me of Seraph. Like she's bored and decided to try and eat the sun.
I dunno, it's just what came to mind the first time I saw it - I should ask Farla, see if she thinks it may be a plausible attempt Seraph could make. Maybe.
At any rate, I like the detail to it - simple, yet despite being line art that's been inked, you still see shadowing effects and underlying breaks in the fur (feathers?) there. Simple, yet gets the point across with good detailing along with it; a difficult task at times, which you have done well in pulling it off. 
And I need to comment more often - been neglecting to do that lately, it seems. Shame on me. D:
