Inspired by my recent rage at the job center. The creature here is a ' parasite'. Theyre kinda bulky flabby creatures with lots of grabby arms, but are a bit slow so in a game context they're a bit of an 'early on' monster.

In the 'Silent hill' version of things theyre the way that the character who is controlling the nightmare- the head of Job Centre Plus, naturally- views the unemployed and who claim benefits. In his or her mind they grab at every chance to cheat the system and avoid work, trying to get as much as they can for nothing - hence the abundance of arms.

They spend most of their time eating junk food and lying around watching TV- hence the bulbous forms with little room for flexibility or grace, and the bedsores and open wounds present on the backside.

The Resident Evil version involves the head of JCP releasing some sort of chemical into each of his job centres, mutating everyone who was unlucky enough to have an appointment that day.
