The vision of this piece is excellent; I believe that the view and design of it seem to ebb and flow very well. The point was well delivered and received. However, in terms of originality I think it lacks in a few different areas being that this looks like a lot of your other works in the sense of lighting, style, and design. Furthermore, the technique is very polished in some areas, but lacking in others. Albeit the case, I have a feeling that the technique is contributory to the design process. Thusly, the impact is well received.
In depth: the pieces colors adequately show the setting and the design is rather simple. One of the things I was taught in art school is that design shouldn't always be focused on the center. (or maybe so much on the subject but on the environment as I think it would add to the effect of this piece; it is a nature scene after all) This may be nit picky, but the fact remains that this is trend in your artwork you might want to change up. The lighting and orientation of the piece is makes me feel a tad sad that you didn't vary the intensity of lighting.
But I digress, as I said before the orientation of the piece works; although I'm a bit set back that this is how it is. I must account for the fact that your pieces always draw on the simpler things. And that is something as I as an artist can appreciate. I like the tone and the feel of it as well.
Lastly, for minor suggestions I suggest you vary the method and prose. The style and technique are very well crafted and need not be worked on. However, the lighting is realistic, but UNrealistic at the same time and could be worked upon with sketches.

This is very nice, I have a few things to point out, but it is overall very nice and very nicely done. ^^
First off, I would like to say I love seing Cloud in his android form.
The colours get very nicely together, and give a warm and comfortable overall look, that is visually pleasing. Very nice job on this.
This is not something you see everyday, so I can see why it received a daily deviation. It almost seems beyond Earth itself, but is still homely and welcoming.
This was beautifully executed, the painting technique is, Ahem- "Love <333"
There are a few small things that could be fixed. The biggest minor detail is the eyes. They seem too be staring past the butterfly. If his right eye was a bit closer in to the middle, I think he would look more concentrated on the butterfly.
In conclusion, a very well done piece with a fantastic feel to it.

I love your style so much, you always make your characters so cute and not to mention the great designs they have!
After taking a look at your old piece I saw a nice imrovement. Your style has grown and become cuter and better while your colouring skills became more stunning. The sense of realism is even stonger here (while in the previous drawing it was more 2D like).
The drawing looks really peaceful, not only because of the scenery but also because of the colours you've chosen. They are full of life and simply catch your attention. The only thing I could point out is pretty much what the previous critique has said. The branch indeed looks a bit off at some parts giving the sesation that the character might fall. Also, something personally I'd love to have seen is adding some leaves close to the viewer on the top, like you've done on the bottom. That would give an extra feeling of dept. This image is a new version of another image with very much work. It was with a new name pronounced but the signature on the picture is still there! The artist had decided to a new subject in the picture insert: A Blue butterfly and a new emotion! The character is an android and called Cloud. As in the original image has one all so left as it should be: Appearance, name and place! But it is not on the original built and why it has its weaknesses: The original is now time still the original. The new version also has a new content, where it still also new and fresh is! Now see we look at the technology of the new image to and there are some points the better made were: The shadow effect is dark, and was as good as possible copies; this is also achieved. Then were new light shine added: The allowed for the environment not missing! Cloud watching now on a blue butterfly and its form was same and was not changed! The eyes have a new reflection effect and the sharpness is extended were. More details are to be seen and the colors are real! Everything has artist renewed and the beautiful! Leaves are individually too see. Shadow is now much real and the colors fit in all points! Well, Extvia, another stunning piece from you!! Please forgive me if I don't do well with this critique-- It is my first ever. So here goes, wish me luck! As per your usual, you have vibrant, attention-catching colors, and the piece its self is composed in a very pleasing but interesting manner. The detail you put into it is also quite remarkable... I, personally, sat and looked at it for at least five minutes trying to take it all in!! However, there are a few elements in this piece that I perceive to be awkward... I feel as though the tree branch that the figure is sitting on is a bit awkwardly shaped, in terms of perspective in relation to your character. I feel is though the part of the branch by your character's paws should be just a bit wider, and that the part of the branch which extends to the background should be placed a bit further down and to the left. The only other qualm I have with this piece is that the figures left ear (actually, right ear, but to us it looks like the left) should be moved down a little bit on the head... When compared to the right ear, it looks a bit longer and differently placed on the head... Even with those thoughts having been made apparent, this is a fantastic work. I'm still in awe at the layering and depth in this picture (such as with the apple and leaves on the right side)!! Your use of lighting and shadows is brilliant, and this is a captivating work of art.

1) you said they are robotic beings so wouldn't that mean they don't need to eat?

Hi, there.
I'm not so sure about the eating part just yet. My geek part tells me to make them wireless powered and so they don't have to "eat their batteries" to keep them alive. But obviously such setting will wipe out an interesting aspect of life so my ordinary part is in doubt. I probably end up making them eat "food" to maintain body condition and also as one of the ways to charge their power. Do you have a better idea?
When I finish the world design I will open the "include my character in this universe" request, then you can send me your character to convert into my style. Will I see your request then?

I'm great at writing really strange short stories! I used to watch a lot of anime. Someday you and I shall work together, I hope. Here is a poem I was working on a few years ago, I called it "Preposterous-Lullaby": [link]
Basically all I did was pick out random words and make a huge nonsensical poem, but its easy enough to make sense out of it, it just needs gaps filled in.
Script writing boils down to;
1. Randomly generated character profiles.
2. Randomly generated story outline.
3. Fill in the gaps and plot holes, and make the characters super sexy (you have that covered!)
