This is my Original character's work in progress, uh progress. Long story short, I was looking for the right colors to make this character seem like a action type guy, but had some personality to him that gives him appeal when giving him this whole outfit. Therefore, I kept saying to myself: Think Micheal Jackson when he doing the "Bad music video in the eighties. That was when I knew something would have to be black, that's where the jacket comes in. I had to edit the jacket in order to make it look like normal jacket, instead of some small shirt with a hood attchment ( sketched out it looked okay, but then on the computer, I had no clue what I was doing. The shading is pretty much obviously done in pencil, but another technique, probably the only one I ever used, was the Opacity adjustment, decreasing the brightness in certain tools, once I did that, everything else was elementary after that. There's also textures, but that's depending what you're drawing sometimes.

As for the bandana, I actually wanted to go with black, to cover it's one eye, just for no reason, just wanted to make him seem like a deep guy. I was a bit not to use red. Ironically enough, I couldn't help but notice that the prince of persia character in the latest game for XBOX360/PS3/PC also features the same attire where the main character wears a towel/headband with the colors of red/blue together, this was a big inspiration to my reference work & thus I went with it, though I'm not gonna put two bandanas on his head, I mean, if he was in the desert, a little less head gear would defitenitely ease up the total sweat amount don't you think? I played the game & it was a masterpiece display of next gen graphic artwork !!!, Hope to get it this christmas!
Another reference to the bandana was Jecht of Final fantasy X, Tidus's father, who's name was inspired for the name of my orinial character, but with a T replacing where the D is. In my story however, he loses it, because of the label it places on him in society, he's an original character, he's not supposed to copy, but inspire!

The shirt, I really wanted to go with some bright color, he isn't always a mopey type, so I thought a yellow would be good, but my brother corrected to go with orange. The dispute was settled over orange I'm not going to finish the lower part, at least I don't think I will be able to, so I'm just going to draw this as a sort of poster type drawing. If I can get the space stretched, I will eventually get to it, otherwise, I'm posting this for reference purposes. Hope you like, don't hesitate to comment this one. I'm open to any alternatives!
