I'm working hard this week! a speedpaint vid and a long over due remake of this profile sheet!

Anyway, wanted to see what a golden scarab would look like, which honestly I'm kinda surprised Scarabs are not yellow in the first place since once a pun a time Green Lanterns were weak against the color yellow.
NOTE: I still need a name for this species!! please help??

Nationality: Rouge - no allegiance to anyone
Current town: Often seen in Frontier Space but he dose a lot of traveling
Coloring/general features:
- Eyes: extremely dark Lavender
- Hair: None
- Skin: tan with a warmer tan on his back w/ red, yellow, purple markings
- Build: Lean, with long legs and torso. His species is built for speed and endurance. But Earth standers he's quite average at 5'11" but very tall compared to others of his kind.
- Distinguishing features: To many Earthlings he's the 'typical' alien type with an oblong head and thin body what sets him apart is his natural colors and unique bone structure.
Allegiance: Lawfully good, but a chaotic neutral morally
Powers and Abilities:
- Reach Scarab Infiltrator unit (prototype): The list of powers that comes with the Scarab is a very long one. With enough fire power to level cites, destroy continents, and terminate entire planets to the smallest obstetrical such as picking a lock. The main objective of a Scarab it to take out a planets military defenses, and destroy the resident Green Lantern should the Lantern come to the planets ad. But perhaps the greatest ability the Scarab has in it's possession is its constant ability to observe, and adapt to new combat situations. The more planets and situations a Scarab is put though the more powerful it gets. Wither that situation requires cunning strategy or brute force all depends on the objective.
- Alien Biology: Although his species have long since grown past their primal stage; His kind have evolved to be fast, agile, and cunning if they were to survive on their hostile planet. With the natural ability to run 65 mph and had the endurance to keep that speed for 45-60 mins. Their large eyes give them extremely good night and ultraviolet vision. Although Khaji Ra is extremely old (way past his species normal lifespan) his body is in peak physical health like he was in his youth thanks to the regenerative powers of the Scarab.

Important Notes and Quirks:
- He likes his alone time. though when needed he will tolerate others for the greater good. After his 'addition' to the Reach and freedom from it he's become somewhat of a pacifist with no real love for fighting only when pushed into it. However, he tends to have a more aggressive personality and when he dose fight is with extreme persecution and he finds that it is often hard to stop himself.
- Even though he doesn't like the company of most people there are a select few that he will seek out. He's grown quite attached to Earth's Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes, finding himself worrying over the boy's safety and tries to teach the Blue Beetle all he can whether Jaime wants too or not.
- He's related to Khaji Kai
- He's got a wicked sense of humor and sarcasm.
- Khaji Ra is a very calm person despite his aggressive temperament. Not much makes him stress too much. Making some people think he is a cold, unfeeling individual but really he just makes the most of "Keep calm and carry on" because stressing over things often has negative results.

I am delighted by the changes you made to Khaji Ra's character design! Many elements that are distinctively insectoid have been added onto the biosuit without causing clutter or unnecessary detail. The gold segments look a lot more like armor carapaces now. The scarab itself is so beautifully drawn, with all of its wispy edges and sheen. I also can't get enough of that colorful imprint on his spine and the cloud of mahogany behind it - you're a whiz when it comes to complimentary colors. Bravo!

though I have to admit I love the small changes you've done to his design as well and I tried to incorporate that into his armor as well. Trust me when I say soon (if you are still open for commissions) I'll be commissioning you again for him XD

Nice design & good looking fan character, but is he a good or bad guy?
There's also one slight riff with the anatomy physics, but I think I'll let that pass for now.

He's an Anti-Hero sooo....Good guy? he's done a lot of bad things but tries to make up for it! ( I'm in the middle of revamping this sheet and it has more info.

The legs are unique to the design, though if my studies are correct, hind-legged caricatures would have a tail of some sort to balance with their physical coordinations, given the stout feet they have, but I'm just being a picky Anatomy analysis.

totally get that.
His spine is extremely flexible and he's very lightweight with a very low center of gravity so it would cause less stress on his ankles and I believe it would take away the need for a tail. The best example would be birds; their actual tail is extremely small and even with feathers there are some species that have no tail at all. this would also be why his toes are larges and spread so that it keeps him up right with out issues.
that's a good thing to point out no many people think of that! kudos!

Yup. Pretty much that. Hopefully, that should keep him well balanced without getting all too wobbly with those long legs that might keep him balanced without swaying too much.
Birds are a good example b'cuz their statures are small & stout as their structure keeps them even on either body sides.

I have actually. Though since he is somewhat based off of an already existing species in DC comics (though we get no info on them or their culture/planet what so ever I'm pretty free to think up anything I want on them). though with what little we've seen we know the were extremely advanced and spoke interlac. But other than that we get nothing since the planet was destroyed by a Reach Scarab named Khaji Kai.
