Reminds me to a SDF - Marcross except this one doesnt have two ships docked at the sides.
Very nice

Well it's finished I've just not decided to make shadings on it and-or remove the background

Megtervezhetnéd az első magyar űrcirkálót is, az lenne a H.S.S. King Victor (H.S.S. - Hungaryan Star Ship)
Hirtelen tényleg azt hittem magyar felségjelű, aztán feltűnt, hogy fordítva van. Az olaszokban nincs semmi eredetiség.

The last Blu-Ray is currently set for release on October 25, so hopefully soon after that, the subtitled versions will be available.

I love how crisp and clear this is :3 I personally think the colors are a bit bright, but then again, they don't really bother me; awesome work.

Don't you know how can a Octagon be connected into a circle? (Aft part of the ship)

Not this kind of sketch.
Sketch on my drawing how the aft part should look like!

Tzoli In reply to Caffeinated-Creator [2013-07-26 20:49:23 +0000 UTC]
no I don't that is the problem!
I don't see how an octagon merges into a circle in 3D not in 2D!
A half cone which base is an octagon and whose top is a circle!

Caffeinated-Creator In reply to Tzoli [2013-07-26 20:58:28 +0000 UTC]
Well it won't merge into it unless either the circle bisects the hexagon or vice-versa; think of it as the hexagon maybe having a groove that matches the curve of the circle; as if the later is clipping into it. Even if the tip is a circle, that is a bit easier, you just add a circular line along the top.. I shall add this in an edit for you... -->>
See? all I did was imply now that the top shape is a circle and the bottom is a hexagon; how this would work if you want to add the diagonal surfaces of the octagon shape; you simply add connecting lines from it to the "equator" of the cone. They don't even have to be straight = if they curve, you get a cool, spiral pattern like in a revolver-chamber.

XD sorry I have no octagons in my version of MS paint and I'm too lazy to sit down with a sheet of paper and pencil atm.
Also; that's the same thing ^^ you just have the diagonal walls merging into a circle at the end; this is no large trick irl (speaking from experience with clay) its like starting with a square as a base and ending with a circle, that works too cause the distance between the lines changes as it tapers.

The Lines!!!
The lines how should them look like?
If 1, 2, 3, 4 are the points of the top and down edges of the Octagon then 5,6,7,8 are the "middle" ones. The lines from here I don't know how should look like!!!!!
Those dotted lines I don't know how should look like!
Both on the previous drawing and on this one:

But they're all correct :/ you could use any and all of them; as long as you have a base and a height, you have a 3D object. I think you're overthinking it really. You can decide for yourself if you want them straight or curved or whatever; depending on what you do, you'll get a different effect. (I wouldn't normally recommend trying a 3D program, but it could help, if you got nothing to cut and knead into a shape)

These are only the base colours, the shading and light effect will come later. I've adding the extra details as I'm going further aft as how my imagination born them and how other drawings showing them.

No the secondary engines will be far aft around the main engine not on the side of the hull (Which have the secondary turrets and wings)
