So I did some more world-building and OC-making after finishing Engineer is a Tourist.

The TF2 Universe's version of early 1900's Hawai'i have had Westerners push the Tiki culture over actual Hawaiian culture, and as a result, Hawaii became infamous for tourists that could potentially be caught and initiated in a "Throw the Tacky Tiki Tourist Into the Volcano" Tours. (They don’t actually throw the tourist in, it's for shits and giggles.) Problem was an undercover alien scouting Earth in order to determine if it was worth invading in the future (which they did, hence Invasion) accidentally fell in and caused strange emissions due to alien chemicals reacting dangerously with lava. It hasn't gone away for whatever god damn reason no matter what they've tried. As a result, that particular area of Hawai'i enforces wearing gas masks for locals & visitors, otherwise they end up inhaling the hallucinogenic properties of the fumes that linger from the volcano, as well as potentially waking up with a third eye. Most of the denizens choose to follow the ways of the Pyro in an attempt to get Pele to heal the volcano the alien fell into.

At this point nobody is surprised that I like to use Fempyros as well as Manpyros. I'd like to use these particular ones again since I've fleshed them out to this degree. Pyro Kalama was born in Tahiti before her family was forced to flee to Hawaii (something about royally pissing off French diplomatic espionage agents), and has danced since childhood, specializing in Hula Auana and Ote'a, as well as some Western dances like swing. Twin Keahi & Twin Keao were born and raised in Hawaii, are both physically fit, have trained in various martial arts, and are musically gifted in various instruments for Auana. Keahi also does fire poi and spitting, and Keao really likes to cook. Keahi wears a bracelet given to him by his late mother on his right hand; Keao wears his on his left.

Kalama met Twin Keahi & Twin Keao when her hula school competed with their hula school - and when she accidentally burnt their school down. There was a lot of unrest and hurt feelings between the RED & BLU villages they came from due to this, until Keahi tried to save her from a landshark attack (the fumes fucked with the sharks on full moons too) and ended up teaming up to throw all the landsharks back in the water. There has been less unrest since then and eventually Kalama and the twins became friends, also later working in the same tourism company for money. I think the Pyros know how to play the tourists right into their hand, hoping at some point using song & dance for the forces of cringe will reward them with riches.

Kalama is vain, stubborn & sarcastic, mumbling about malihini and haole behind her gask mask that she wears wigs on (this is a popular trend for people in the area of all genders). She spends fruitlessly on lavish things such as sweets, dresses, swimsuits, hats, more wigs, and the Balloonicorn toy line. Keahi & Keao are more forgiving of the tourists by not only Aloha philosophy but just general shits and giggles, being most amused by their misunderstandings more than anything and play along to enjoy the entertainment. Keahi is the more boastful and aggressive of the two, while Keao is more thoughtful and reserved. If I had to sum it up with weapons attached to each of their personalities: Kalama runs Phlogistinator, Keahi runs Degreaser, and Keao runs Backburner. Here's the three Pyros in casual wear off work, enjoying some mango-pineapple & banana slushies.
