Edit:Ok I disabled the comments. I really couldnt take all the negative stuff I got on this pic. So now people can just fav if they like it. And go away if they hate it. Besides. Having over 1000 favs on this pic makes me happy enough already.
I am so damn proud of this. I mean i think i finally got proportion right for once! ;0; Proper backgrounds are a pain in the ass 8D

The background is well done. I know the pains of trying to come up with backgrounds. It bugs the heck out of me when I try to draw them -_-; It honestly doesn't remind me of Lilo and stitch at all oO; Tiki torches maybe, but besides that, nah. But geeze 8D we have tiki torches here in flippin' Canada! AND Hammocks.
All in all, this is well done! Congrats on getting the front page!!

The gradient lighting is incredible, as are the water beads. The fire looks amazing, better than I could ever draw... ( T_T ), and their expressions really set the picture's mood. Not to mention the flower petals and the wood. Ino's flowers are awesome, and the proportions are great. And the moon, sky, bushes, and spaztic random blades of grass own me.

This is simple beautiful! I love the coloring. It looks like its night. I have an aweful time creating a night scene, but this truely captures that darker light source. Bothe the background and the characters. Then I like how the light from the tourches shines on them. It looks accurate and the right color.
Their expressions are really in character. Shikamaru really has that relaxed nonchalant look and Ino looks like she's enjoying the moment. The background is soooooooo good. Ohh I love your style for line art and coloring!
