How would you like to have your Street Fighter fan art printed in our latest pin-up special next to the artists of UDON? We're taking fan art submissions for the 2018 STREET FIGHTER: SUMMER SPORTS SPECIAL, in stores this August!We’re looking for your summer-themed Street Fighter artwork - swimsuits, the beach, sports - anything with a summer theme is welcome! So sharpen your pencils, warm up your drawing tablets, and show some summer love for STREET FIGHTER!
Rules and notes:
-artwork must feature at least one character from the STREET FIGHTER video game series
-you may not include characters from other Capcom or non-Capcom games/properties
-characters not allowed include those exclusive the Street Fighter EX series, and the character of Ingrid
-you may not include your own original characters
-artwork may be sexy but no nudity please
-artwork should not feature alcohol, smoking, or drug use.
-entrants must be at least 16 years of age at time of submission
-by submitting your artwork, you are giving UDON permission to publish it in the Street Fighter: Summer Sports Special in 2018. along with
your name or pseudonym
-your country and state.
-please feel free to show off your submission online any time! We'd love if you add the hashtag #SFcomicfanart
-all art styles are welcome
-ideal artwork shape is 7 x 11". While low resolution previews are used for submissions, we suggest you create your artwork at 300dpi+ (if selected, we may request the higher resolution file from you for printing)
-artwork submission deadline is June 5, 2018

This is what I was working on but still had fun doing it XD

I am so bad at thinking of ideas.
It would have taken me a solid 8 to 10 hours to create , but to think of something to make took 3 weeks.
I only got 4 hours into working on my piece. I started Sunday night,but things like sleep got in my way of finishing.
When 10 pm rolled around tonight I knew I didn't have a chance of finishing.
If I did finish late I wouldn't have know if it would have been excepted or not, because of time zones.
Doesn't matter much, because I never get into the specials. The best I did was a Cammy fan art, but that was over 10 years ago in a single issue.

No, it should not be have to be in the image. Just something you can include if you are making a twitter or instagram post about it

Are we allowed to use the capcom logo, or Udon Logo within our illustration? what about having the street fighter logos?

We don't mind the UDON logo being used, though it might be best not to use the Capcom or game logos. We can't guarantee Capcom will agree with the usage.

I wondering the same so I found some review videos. Other than a few centerfolds, they're portrait. But there is an Ibuki in the 2016 issue that's landscape. I would imagine either is fine but I think I'm going to stick to portrait.

UdonCrew Does this need a background? I'm terrible at them and I realize most of your artwork needs a background. If this is one of the rare ones where it doesn't, then let me know. If not, I'll have to figure something out and bring my A-Game!

it's not necessary, but you might still try something visually interesting like splashes of color.
