Description Oil on canvas.

Again, still life isn't my favorite, but it's a good idea to work that way from time to time. Even though yellow is probably my least favorite of the major colors, I do like how it worked out in this piece. I may have to photoshop that orange bottle in the bottom left corner at some point to get its brilliance to match the painting itself.

I wouldn't change anything about this. The originality of this piece, flawless or flawed, is what makes it special and pristine. It really has a depth to it that brings the viewer in more. Lovely color choice as the purples and yellows somehow work well together. They're normally supposed to contrast; well I suppose that may be what makes this painting so vibrant. Very well done and beautifully stylized.

Thank you very much! Your opinion is definitely valued.

About the colors, contrasting colors create energy in a piece yet also balance, so they work very well if handled well. Vibrancy yet balance can make for strong compositions!

the colours and the light effect is very well made,i liked this but ..you are more creative than this,i knowi think you are better at deviations which have both imagination and hand work in.still life is not your style

Yeah, I am more creative than this. I'll be posting more work that actually has something to do with my own thoughts soon. Still life really isn't my thing. For me, it's mostly just an exercise, unless I get the privelige of setting the still life up myself (which isn't as bad), given that when I set them up they tend to be... different.

I appreciate the praise greatly.

Oh wow, very nice painting! I love the way it reminds me of the brilliant pieces that Australian artists made in the 1900's, this just tops them with composition and colour ^o^

Take a determined whack at it and you just might surprise yourself with how good you'll be in a short period of time.
