It's okay you can be well painted.
It doesn't have to be learned to do well.

Yeah but when ever I start adding colors to my drawings I just seem to mess them up. Yeah I really need to have more practice

That's right. 
It's really hard work to paint.
It takes a lot of practice.
I'm not good at it either.
