I'm just absolutely floored by the colouring in this--the lighting is so intense and adds to the atmosphere of the piece. The mannequins being faceless and colourless is a good metaphor as to how lifeless they are in contrast to Heather--whose expressionless face seems to compliment the surrounding lifelessness around her.
...I really need to get into Silent Hill.
