I feel sorry for those who still place their hopes on the shoulders of politicians.
Should life be better, it ought to be by their own work, not because some politicians that slipped their way falling down from the heaven changed it.

...voting for one of 2 candidates each representing someone else's ideology instead of being able to express my own opinion - and continuing a system that promotes this - this is the insanity I see

Craziness is the act of repeating same actions over and over again and hoping a different result.
Quoting what my friend says, a politician that truly cares for the people is too rare now. He himself would go to the voting booth when it's election time, just to make an invalid vote. He does this so that his voting right won't be taken and used by someone else.

ALL politicians are not the same . . . world of difference between Obama and Trump (granted, a fake politician) . . . we have to vote for someone . . . Mickey Mouse isn't a real option.

Sorta funny about this. I told everyone that their vote didnt count before the election and twas the Electors votes that did.. EVERYONE told me I was full of shit and the electors had to do what the popular vote said or that their vote DID count and I didnt know anything...
Afterwards those who said " give Obama a chance" showed thier true colors and bititory when the crook beat the (censored) and became prez.. and since Sugga'momma did NOT win they showed so MUCH hate that it made me ashamed to even be an American much less even a human.
