It took me right to Alien vs. Predator. Well, there were no choppers in that pic, but a lot of ice and snow and things getting smashed about.

An interesting piece. A lot of "action" in your world!

I like it a lot, everything seems a bit to smooth, a bit perfect and undetailed, except the chopper; and this seems to bring that aspect out all the more. Clever, and well done.

i was waiting for a comment like that. its a common technique isnt it my take on it is that u can go as detailed as want on the whole.. but look at rea life. the only differences u get is that ur FOV may be huge, but what is ur central focus? get what i mean? i just think of what its like to 'see' a picture, and little to none of that 'eyes wandering' crap that i dont like alot. sure it works for my panoramic piece or a huge scene (that i got no complaints) but for tighter subjects.. now theres a reason why photography invented a macro lens or the 50miller

I'm not sure why, but the movie "The Thing" with Kurt Russell keeps flying through my head when I look at this. It looks almost like a blend of watercolor & acrylic, though it's done digital. That probably sounded corny. I like how it's not too bright...like the snow is being blown around so much the light just can't break through.

Excellent Work! ! !
