No... the only thing I did differently on the final was fill in the water with blue... nothing really spectacular. When I get it back, I'll take a pic of it.

Prismacolor pencils. Just a matter of good blending which is usually very easy to do with prismas.

Any particular kind of paper? My paper is usually slightly gritty, so I get white spots where the pencil doesn't cover.

Watercolor paper, actually. If you full view it, you can see the white spots.

Yes, I actually saw that when I looked at your gallery and saw the beginning piece you had posted, where it said prismacolor pencils...gotta love those! This is absolutely beautifuL!
