Mielikki is a forest deity from old Finnish folklore!
This is a watercolor painting I did for the Graphite magazine, issue 06.

And true, it's a little ironic that some people probably think it's an original D&D character when it's so obviously taken from much older Finnish folklore and specifically Kalevala... but I guess most of the high fantasy recycles elements from ancient myths and cultures anyway - which I think is totally fine, that's just the nature of the genre and I do it too, myself - some of the original characters are just more generally known than others.
