Alright. Its a very simple operation...
So what you need is:
-Boiling hot water,
-Both SMF MMPR Green Ranger figure and Legacy MMPR Green ranger figure
-a very small thin but hard rod or a mini screwdriver to poke out the joints.
So what you do is take the green ranger without the silver lining, poke out the joint connections(where the tiny holes are on the front of the shoulders. This is so you can take the arms off. The pegs come out fairly eazy. Just poke them out with your long thin metal rod or mini screwdriver shaft.
DONT LOSE THOSE CONNECTION PEGS!! they are very small and eazily lost if not careful.
Next,
Carefully start prying off the shields, CAREFULLY. This can be done with your fingers. The shield is glued onto the figure but not impossible to get off(as proven). Use the boiling hot water if you need to in order to soften the rubber/plastic.
Also, another method/option to help remove the shields, The straps connecting to the back are connected and glued on, not molded as they are in the front of the shield. So if you want, you can disconnect the back straps CAREFULLY, you can glue it back once you've made the swap.
Once you have loosened the shields(to where it is not 'glued' on the ranger anymore, put the figure in hot boiling water to make the shield very soft, this is so you can just slide it over the helmets. This saves the trouble of disconnecting the torso to get the head and possible damaging your figure in the process. Ive done it that way once when I had some spare green rangers and was in "experiment mode", and it was not pretty.
So once the shield is off, Swap the gold shield over to the body with the appropriate helmet.
The shiny gold shield should now be on the body of the green ranger without the silver lined helmet. Glue the back straps back onto the back of the shield as it was before(if you chose that route to take the shield off).
Put the arms with the gold bands on the green ranger with the gold shield and accurate helmet. Just push the little small green joint pegs back in place.
Now most of the swapping is complete.
Next, just take off the boots. You DO NOT have to take the knees off, just the white boots only. They are very eazy to do. Just pull and pop them off carefully. Give the boots with the gold lining to the appropriate body.
Then botta bing botta BOOM, an ACCURATE Legacy MMPR Green Ranger.
Hope this explains everything. Any other questions just let me know

That could work too, but you'd have to get some good green to blend in. I could not find any so i took the operation route And it was eazier that I thought.
Plus on the SMF green ranger, the morpher on the belt is gold like its suppose to be as well.
On legacy figure, its silver.
