That Oswald from Happy Scouts is a cheap knockout. The Disney/Iwerks Oswald is the real deal. I bet that the "Happy Scouts" Oswald is one of imitators hired by Walter Lantz and use Oswald's name. I think Oswald the rights to be pissed.

Me three. The Disney/Iwerks version of Oswald is the original and the best. Even, after Disney and Iwerks left Universal, they kept that design until around 1931.

Yeah, it was a bad year for Oswald. But 1935 was an even worse year because Walter Lantz replaced him with the ugly, white, plump rabbit from the cartoon character, "The Rabbit And The Fox" and that rabbit was using his name.

Yeah. It was. A very stupid idea. That stupid idea caused the end of Oswald's career. Wouldn't be surprised that about everybody hated that ugly, white rabbit and the 1935-1938 Oswald cartoons. Walter Lantz should keep Oswald in his original design.

Because Walter Lantz is dead since 1994 and his company, Walt Lantz Productions shut down a lot earlier around the 1970's. Also, The Walt Disney Company got back from NBCUniversal on February 9, 2006. Walter Lantz no longer have any powers on Oswald no what so ever.

Thank goodness. Now it's Wener Spector and Disney, both doing a great job with the character.

Oh yeah. They've even officially reverted him back to his original 1927-1931 design.

That Universal Ossie dosen't even look like the Disney one. Not to mention Oswald was just better in the Disney cartoons. I've seen the toons Universal made, not a fan.
