Description Colossus here is a 6-8-8-6 modified Big Boy steam locomotive, built in 2009 by a hidden super factory in New York that was made by Digimon, His body was made form the carcass of an old scrapped Big Boy Loco and was connected to a bunch of specialized passenger, Military, Hospital, And Rescue cars, Also has some different types of steam powered dummy units to help him pull this heavy train.

Capabilities:
Colossus is known to have the ability to morph himself into a robot like a transformer as an avatar form,

his Military weapons are like Galaxy Railways, Kamen Rider Den-O, and other super train like shows, capable of fighting in all major directions. (Meaning up, down, left, right, back, and forth.)

There are some non-rail vehicle dispenser cars that unload cars, boats, small airplanes and stuff for special missions.

Hospital cars are also important in the train for keeping people/Magical Creatures/Digimon/robots/aliens from dying until they reach a hospital.

Rescue cars are like Fire Fighting, Breakdown train, and International Rescue-like equipment-like things.

Super-Pursuit Mode (Soon will be drawn) allows Colossus and the rest of his train to sprout aerodynamic parts and travel up to speeds of 8,000 M.P.H. and use more weapons.

Imagine if this train will be like my idealized Ghost Train V, the Last Ghost Giant.

I've been planning for that all week! All I just need are some surprises for Colossus.

(It's a secret. But I'll give you a hint: It's a Tier 5 Jet Train, described as a nuclear-powered train, and, a real fortress on wheels.)

Plus, I wonder how would this be colored?

Maybe, all black, like Bruce the Big Boy 4014?

Or maybe like the Big Boy Duo-Chrome?

(Wonder if he's answering....)

No bigger than the Bigboy only taller. My locomotive while my museums (the National railroad museum) locomotive UP 4017 is 132 feet long and one of only 8 Bigboys still in existence.

Keep up the good work. The engine should probably know some of the Fat Controller's engines like Whiff (Aerolght- a 2-2-4t) Thomas, Murdoch (an orange 9F 2-10-0) and Emily (A stirling single 4-2-2 tender engine) and show the lot of them with some trucks

Belive me, the trucks would be scared so much of Colossus that they would metiphoricaly pee their pants.

wow...nice. The only thing I don't like are those turnts atop the boiler. Other then that nice job. Well done!

I wouldn't mind seeing this train with both the Locomotive and tender conected.

I agree with Steamby51, but I still think the turets on top is a good idea but needs more structure. Also I think in my personal opinion that the wheels are a tiny bit small, but that's just my opinion.
Realy cool though.

Ultraloco In reply to Gattlin [2008-01-02 22:22:21 +0000 UTC]

I understand that the turrets don't look stable, but don't worry, they have specail supports inside the rotation components inside that arn't seen in the pic, and I understand that the wheels are a bit small I usally have this ruler with some stencils that has only 2 types of circles that don't have one that's big enough. Oh, I forgot to mention: those 5 circles on the side of the boiler are the fronts of some side cannons based off of this locomotive: [link]

Gattlin In reply to Ultraloco [2008-01-03 00:32:33 +0000 UTC]

Ahh, yes, cannons.
If you realy want the train to be worthy of train to train combat, put some kind of gun on the cab so it can attack trains by the brain.

I mean, the Divine Intervention has two Gattling guns hidden under the floorboard that can easily be hooked up to the windows, one on each side.

interesting idea. also in the cowcatcher there's a couple of old-timey missle launchers.

Gattlin In reply to Ultraloco [2008-01-03 02:11:13 +0000 UTC]

Forget the missle launchers, make the entire boiler turn into some giant doomsday ray gun. Just wanted to throw that out.

Ultraloco In reply to Gattlin [2008-01-03 02:38:24 +0000 UTC]

Technically, They arn't feuled by the boiler, they are held onto by clockwork, Spring-loaded launchers. so the boiler only feeds the main parts of the locomotive.

Well, havn't you heard of a steam cannon?

I beleive I did.

Both of yall are way off.

Is this locomotive fired by steam, if so then this is what I’ve come up with…

1. The cannons atop the boiler.

No matter what I can’t see this working, The Throttle housing is very thin, and the recoil from the shots would tare the turrets right off (along with the top of the throttle housings and the throttle valve would be completely exposed, meaning you would lose steam and control…neater good, and that’s if the boiler doesn’t explode right off.), plus I can’t even begin to figure out how you would reload them, the motor to turn them would have to have someplace to go, and there an’t any room in the flues or throttle housing underneath.

2. Missiles under the pilot.

I tried this with Texas, it doesn’t work. Most of the space under the pilot is taken up by the Pilot truck’s spring and first axle assembly, and the underside of the pilot deck has the airline, steam line, and as in the Big-boy, the coupler pocket’s fold down assembly. There just plane isn’t enough room.

3. Gattling guns in the cab.

Ok, have ether of yall been in the cab of a moving steam locomotive! The last thing the crew needs are guns going off! Plus were would you find room under the cab plate, usually that’s were the ash drop is.

4. The steam cannons.

This could work and the idea of valves fired them from steam discharge is pretty inventive. Whoever cam up with that knows there stuff!

5. The Boiler turning into a giant ray gun

No…just…no.

I don’t know other weapons you have but I would recommend simple firearms by the crew. And perhaps a rotating steam cannon on the pilot plate. Perhaps a shield would also be nice.

Hold on there partner! The missiles are launched from the cowcatcher, Colossus doen't turn into a death ray, The cannons are fueled by steam but the projectiles it fires are perfect to where there is no recoil, the blasts are made of chakra that is launched and then turns into solid steel bullets, like a rapid summoning jutsu, the gattling guns in the cab are most of the time are autopiloted but somtimes the Driver, who also fires up Collossus uses it to protech the rest of the train. (Even though the entire train Colossus pulls is armed)

Railwolf In reply to Ultraloco [2008-03-20 00:47:22 +0000 UTC]

huh, whats a rapid summoning jutsu and a chakra. and I still don't get what your talking about the missles. From what your saying there under the pilot (cowcather) and there still isn't any room for them. Ecpechily on a Big Boy! Not only are there air lines, a steam line, and if the thing has a pass threw MU, an MU hook up. but there is the pocket for the colapsing cupler...still no room.

I'm still fond of the gun-car. Thats what we use, allthough as Texas is a locomotive of peace, the locomotive itself has no weapenry.

Objection!

Jutsu and chakra are explianed in Naruto, to make it easy, his cannons fire a wave of steam and using special energy will cause it to turn into a hard steel bullet, there ain't really much uner ther cowcatcher exept the bogey last time I checked, so the launchers can fit in easley, they are small launchers, they arn't under the cowcatcher, they are inside around the middle, Collossus is very complicated, some of his parts can be stored in interdimential pockets, Sorry if this is bugging you.

Its just ive been around locomotives half my life and recintly I got the chance to walk aboard a real Big-boy (steamtown) and I had a pic of this locomotive on my PSP. (yes, feel very honnered) and as I compared so much just didn't make since.

But if there is nothing but framework under his pilot....how does he cuple to somthing thats in front or how does he pass air threw his brakes? and I've never seen an episode of Nuroto all my life.

Ultraloco In reply to Railwolf [2008-03-20 02:30:06 +0000 UTC]

I mean, what I'm saying is, there are 2 small missile launchers on the sides inside the tender, they go around the coupler and air brakes. don't worry, you don't have to know about Naruto.

Railwolf In reply to Ultraloco [2008-03-20 02:53:59 +0000 UTC]

inside the tender!!! so they launch inside the tender and somehow weave along the underbelly and launch from under the pilot! Thats almost an unbelivible as them being under the pilot in the first place! lol

Ultraloco In reply to Railwolf [2008-03-20 02:59:48 +0000 UTC]

(Slaps forehead) No no no, The launchers are inside the Cowcatcher, they arn't in the tender, if they wear to be launched under him, the missles may accidentally hit a switch/crossing/passover and blast him intead! sorry, but this song is going everywhere. (Meaning this conversation's going crazy!) O_x

Railwolf In reply to Ultraloco [2008-03-20 03:38:53 +0000 UTC]

yah, typo. I know how dat goes!

I'll still can't see it working though becuse that still means he has to fire missles out from a small space bewteen the cowcatcher and the track (and like you said, run the risk of hitting switch, pont, frog, tie, crossing road, and blasting himself to kingdom come) and were is his forward cupling then and arihoses and steam heat hose? I'm sorry, but I'm just not getting the pcture .

a 6-8-8-6! very cool. one thing, i think if those gun turrets were mounted atop the boiler, the recoil from their shots would tear them off, along with a section of boiler wall
