Description
Mifune the Mallard Five
The Mallard Five is the locomotive Go Mifune drives in the Great Race. The engine was designed, built, and created by Daisuke Mifune, Go's father. He features a set of special devices which Go Mifune uses throughout the race, such as turbo boost, grip sand for the wheels, battering ram cowcatcher, bulletproof windows, illumination headlights, water skis and can launch a small flying robot to send messages and spy on people, the Mallard Five was used for the newest Great Race, however he attracted all sorts of crimes and shenanigans, such as an engine hauling stolen diamonds, a locomotive killer, a giant Mammoth Locomotive that was made of gold and more.

Flynn the Light Engine
Flynn was a GWR 14xx tank engine that worked near a laboratory that was building a massive supercomputer, Flynn was ordered to push in some trucks full of computer equipment, getting hit by some experimental ray, causing him with his driver and fireman to be absorbed into the system and forced into a digital world for 44 years until 1987 as the computer got hooked into the internet, allowing him to wonder the digital world for another 29 years until one graceful morning in Sodor Research as he hacked himself into a special ray that materialized him back into the real world, his design clearly changed, Flynn could chuff at ridiculously high speeds, even faster than the hyperloop thanks to his new powers, but of course his constant sonic booms blew everyone away.

Nicademus Andron the Sandcrawler Engine
The sandcrawler engine was built on Tatooine by the jawas and used for the rail network that was recently being restored, Nicademus would pull trains of junk robots and spaceship parts to the Skywalker farms or local foundry. Through sub-space communication, Sodor would get Nicademus via hijacked Star Destroyer which flew all the way to Earth via lightspeed, then crashing near the island causing a tidal wave putting the sandcrawler engine at the docks, Nicademus came in rusted and was unable to work.

Tiny Train
This little engine was from a separate book series made in the late 90’s, Tiny Train was part of some railroad that serviced a zoo and some small businesses, him along with a passenger engine and diesel freighter I think, looks more like a box steamer to me, anyhow Tiny train was purchased to help on the Little Western, only problem was his high-pitched voice was rather annoying to hear and drove everyone in a 50-ft. radius insane.

Wilford the Snowpiercer
In 2031, Wilford was an attempt to counteract the most likely made-up Manbearpig through pulling a massive train powered by his nuclear engine that travels a circumnavigationed track, created by the transportation magnate Wilford. By 2085, the smart people inhabit the extravagant front cars and the "Dum-Dums" inhabit the tail in squalid and brutal conditions. Under watch by Wilford's guards, they are brought only gelatinous protein bars to eat and kept in their place in the social order by his engineer Minister Mason, while sometimes small children are taken away to be used as spare parts. Wilford would one day accidentally hit the old Delirium (Which had rolled out of a snowdrift) as he accidentally got it working again, sending him back in time back to normal Sodor, however due to the lack of snow around him, he would go on a runaway rampage around the island, having every switchman and engineer crapping themselves as Wilford and his train were racing about the island with switches changed to keep him from derailing, he was soon sent out to the Mainland bridge as he ended up leaving the island, months later, the engines would hear of Wilford hitting Al Gore and stopping Manbearpig for good, crashing in the process.

Rigby the Air-Power Engine
Rigby was made to operate in flammable areas, built to shunt trucks by being filled with air. He would be bought by Topham to work in the new Arelsdale Oil Refinery and move oil tankers about the railyard without setting a blaze, he would do this for months on end, unfortunately, Rigby would end up working with a mentally retarded engine called Mortacai who was to pull an oil train to Knapford, however Mortacai's embers spewing from his stack would light up a leaking oil car, soon catching it aflame as Rigby to run away, the fact he was air powered did not make him into anything fast would cost him dearly as a oil drum exploded, causing Rigby to be blown off track as he watched Mortacai run away, Rigby watching him run off as he was engulfed in flames, Rigby would be found under a collapsed smokestack as fire crews pulled out the rubble.

Kravendish the Target Sentinel
Kravendish the Target Sentinel was made for the new Target on Sodor, like the Sodor Walmart, it had shopping carts on rails that held more than regular carts, Kravendish would push the carts back into the indoor corral so shoppers would not have to grab them in the wind, snow, hail and rain. Kravendish was doing this for a while but would develop a rivalry with Thorton the Walmart Engine as both engines worked for competing department stores, sometimes doing a direct delivery to compete with Thorton's services. The Target-owned sentinel would plan the sabotage of Thorton by convincing his shopping carts to bump him into a McDonald's. Upon investigation one of the carts confessed and Kravindish was sold for scrap to keep Target's image clean. Later investigation of his shed showed photos the sentinel took showing that he had photo evidence that many of Wal-Mart's employees are pedophiles.

Prissy the Pink Pony Engine
Prissy was a birthday party present for a rich girl back in 1884, built to be her own private train complete with a horsehead, Prissy would spend a glorious.... 5 years of service before her owner became 10 years old and went off to finishing school, upon returning at 16 years old, her owner saw the engine as a waste of shed space as she found a bigger and better private engine, Prissy was bought out by a circus as a ride for the kids and would do this for years until late 2015 when some fat pseudo-intellectual with a neckbeard, fedora, black trenchcoat and a katanna in hand found her rotting in a warehouse somewhere near Thames, being rich himself, he bought and restored her to working order for him and his fellow pseudo-intellectuals at some convention. Prissy would end up having Cheetos stains on her seats, leftover fleshlights, body pillows, and other creepy objects left in her seats. Her new owner took her to Sodor for another convention, Prissy had become really rude towards the other engines, often spreading her political beliefs on the other engines, Hiro and Charlie got sick of her as they bumped her with some troublesome trucks, sending her flying towards a yet to be repaired bridge as she was sent falling off a broken section, plummeting down below like Diesel 10, only there was no barge down below as her full head of steam couldn't take the sudden temperature change and caused her boiler to explode.

St. Frank the Railway Gun
Sergeant Frank was an American railroad gun built around World War I and taken over to the U.K. to shoot German ships and aircraft, built with two boilers to move the gun up and down and to position himself in case an engine wasn't around, Frank would one day be restored in the museum he was left in, taken to Sodor to be pulled around by the engines to prevent Somali pirates from invading, Frank was towed by Henry, Sam, Murdoch, Stanley and others, however German engines like Marklin found Frank to be offensive and went on strike. The Hatt of Fatt was not impressed by the strike, having Frank placed at the nearest local military base, Marklin had stuffed a brakevan full of dynamite as he shoved it at the gate, smashing through and blowing off Frank's face. Boy was that a mess, the railgun coach was soon taken back to the museum as they are currently working on a new face for him.

Brickhead the ACE 3000 Engine
Brickhead worked for a American railroad as a experimental engine, used to test new methods of steam operation as he was made for maintenance crews to easily repair and modern engineers to drive. Brickhead unfortunately didn't live up to either of those features and was sold to Sodor, being a competitive engine with a reputation for being a annoyance and will do anything to win a competition, including ridiculous hijinks. He views smaller engines such as James and Percy as "Total Lame-Balls guys", often calling them derogatory names such as "The Red Midget" (James) and "The Green Gremlin" (Percy), and often takes pleasure in hitting on the female engines. Because of his annoying behavior, hardly any of the engines get along with him and often wanted to tape his mouth shut, Porter got tired of Brickhead's ocean jokes as he stuffed a giant sausage in his mouth and then taped his eyes shut, causing Brickhead to flop backwards and knock out some buffers, hitting a crane and landing on his head, he is currently in the Steamworks' intensive care ward.

Lewis the American Mogul Engine
Lewis is a strong goods engine who was built by the Rodgers Locomotives Works in 1897. A man from the UK named Harlan Nimmo purchased the engine as well as two other engines built in US for use on his railway. Though Lewis and the other two engines were within loading Gauge for the UK they were sent to Doncaster works to be given a proper running board new cabs, Buffers and tenders.

Lewis is proud of his Rodgers heritage but loves his new home as well finding the goods work a adventure. Oddly Lewis has a distaste for shunting and running passenger trains. It's not that he feels he is too important to shunt he simply has a stiff valve gear that is not suited to back and forth operation like that needed in shunting. As for passenger work he prefers doing what he knows he is good at a point made even clearer thanks to his rebuild as Doncaster gave him Chain link couplings and not Screw link which are preferred for passenger duties.

Despite all this Lewis does what he is told but he will try his hardest to get out of passenger work.

Reason for Rejection: The fact that he was handled correctly for conversion to work in the UK and the fact he belongs to another railway.

Aldrin the Steam Rocket Engine
Aldrin was a early test engine made for using rockets as propulsion back during WWII when word of the Germans had built the V8 rocket to space, Aldrin was soon under works in ’47 and in ’48 was up to steam on Sodor, the engine was set to steam and built pressure until he had his throttle put to forward, roars of steam and waves of it seen as the little engine whooshed forwards, pulling a train of 8 trucks as his load rockets managed to nearly deafen everybody around him, Aldrin thankfully didn’t scald his driver or fireman nor crash, but he was considered to be dangerous for operation.

Chorky the Megatrain.Com Streamliner Engine
Chorky is the founder of a railway that is made as a method of cheaper rail travel that could compete with airlines, AmTrak, Virgin Rail and Buses, mostly working on Eastern, Western coasts of the U.S., small farming towns, Western U.K. and such, similar to International Railways, he was planning to expand to Sodor, since most of the engines at the time were too busy hauling freighters from all over the railway, Chorky would come in with his girlfriend Lumpkinella and was soon having his engines pulling passenger trains all over the Island of Sodor, only for people to learn about some of his “Railroad’s” problems, such as the fact his company barley owned any track of his own, needing him and his fellow engines to wait for Thomas and others to pull their trains out of the way first, plus coach wheel axels broke frequently, needing Bertie to come in and save the day, engines running out of coal due to tenders and bunkers being way too small.

Tad the Tall Boiler Engine
Tad was a tall vertical-boiler engine made mostly for getting other engines steamed up in the morning, by using some steel hoses, they connected Tad to Gordon, Henry, James and others then had them running in 20 minutes, meaning work could start earlier, engineers and fireman could have more time to sleep, then get to work with more energy, Tad would then shunt cars and help power any other steam equipment around Sodor, his downfall was that one day he was being hauled by Diesel over to Ulfstead Castle, forgetting that Tad’s boiler wouldn’t make clearance at the oncoming tunnel, Diesel drove in and caused the poor engine to hit the roof, flip up and smack his face on the roof, giving him a black face, a bad gift that kept on giving as people thought he was wearing blackface makeup, having social justice warriors assault him as he was being taken to the Steamworks, poor Tad had to wear a armored mask for months after that, Hit decided not to show the engine’s sad story.

Frosty the Snowengine
Frosty was a mysterious vertical-boiler engine that arrived around Christmas time on Sodor when it snowed, always appearing to engines when alone in Henry’s forest, causing engines to watch him pull igloo coaches behind him, the ice windows making it hard to tell who he carried inside, many people and engines were always trying to catch this cables engine but to no avail, around March the snow would soon have to give in to Spring, Frosty soon disappeared after that, many said he melted, some say he had tracks to return to the North Pole to Santa Claus’ village, it is not certain about his whereabouts, but some say the engine gives fun rides to children who believe in it.

Eric and Erica the Vintage Monorail
Eric and Erica were part of the legendary Lisbon and Ballybunion Monorail system, the multi-boilered monorail engine used to haul passengers and cattle through the countryside in Ireland all the way up to the early 20’s until cars became an advent in their business, it was stated they were scrapped with the entire fleet when that happened, only to be found out they survived and spent almost a hundred years in some mansion when they were found in it’s cellar, as the mansion was being cleared out for a new buyer, they were mined out from there and were bought by the Earl of Sodor, soon to be part of his own replica railway, complete with new coaches and everything, the duo engine was happy and enjoyed days of service, that was until the duo ended up finding a liquor cabinet and ended up hitting Glynn, thus needed them to go to rehab for weeks on end. They were rejected mostly due to them being a Irish stereotype.

Florence the Minivan Bullet Engine
Florrence was a attempt by Hit Entertainment to mock the soccer moms and their constant complaints about Thomas and Friends, having her drive in and nag engines constantly, become a massive hypocrite, needlessly employ safety features like seat belts, lifeboats and other things. During filming she hit one the back of Diesel 10’s scrap train and flung herself in there, looking like a horrid wreck.

Grimsby the GWR Steamotor Rail Hearse
Grimbsy was built for the GWR but after he was purchased by N.W.R., he was converted into a hearse, he became depressed and tried multiple times to end his existence.

Timmy Turner the Tank Engine
Timmy was an average engine that no one understands, his driver and firewoman plus his babysitter Vicky always giving him commands, but the doom and gloom up in his room is broken instantly when his magical fishy friends grant every wish to spin reality, in other words, this small little engine had fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, this would have him warp Sodor into many wacky situations to be in, however this last waaay to many seasons, gained too many crappy main characters in it and the animation budget got cheaper with it going to flash, Timmy was soon rejected off of the Arsdale Railway as kids just didn’t find relevance in him anymore. Like other Nickelodeon properties. (Sans Power Rangers since they always manage to entertain kids)

Rod the Retrofuture Engine
Rod was a specialized automated Steam Engine made to operate without the need of a driver or fireman way back in the 30's, he brought onto Sodor to test the possibility of automated train travel for the Northwestern Railway as Sir Topham Hatt could had men program his daily routes into him. Part of his operation had a camera pointed down that reads colors, a colored square with a different command for each one was placed in between the tracks as the camera reading would have Rod operate to that command, such a red for stop, green for go upon the signal, yellow for slow down, blue for stopping at the station, Etc. But if someone accidentally poured some paint or anything on said squares, Rod would take the command wrong and possible go something inaccurate.

Gourd the Submarine Tank Engine
Gourd was part of a secret rescue organization called “International Rail-scue” a group of engines and cars made to perform rescues by land, sea or air. Gourd would often push stuff out of the way or dive into the rivers and sea to do rescues there, however Hit didn’t feature him as he looked too much like Gerry Anderson’s Thunderbird 4.

Gargamel the Cauldron Cart
Gargamel was made by old witches during the ancient year of 1955 in Sweden when witchcraft was in it’s early stages, he was used to haul mass potions from estate railroad owned by some mansion to some sewage plant yard located near a school, Gargamel would be taught lots of pseudo-sorcery skills as he learned about small blue people called the Smurfs, these little creatures could be morphed into gold, or eaten, various spellbooks are iffy on what they do, Gargamel would have various minion engines over the years to pull him around and help him in his schemes, he learned of a Smurf village that existed on Sodor, managing to get there, he used his various spells to attack the tiny people only for Papa Smurf, Brainy and others to fly in and save the day once more, Gargamel was found by Sir Topham Hatt and soon put to work at the Sodor Textile Mill, having to haul sludge from the various dyes used to make clothing.

Conrad the Cybercafe Car
Conrad was an old Southern Pacific coach restored in the 90’s to become a mobile cybercafé for Amtrak, having lots of computers onboard for people to use as mobile phones were not available at the time, Conrad would be pulled in trains for years until cell phones became more common along with high-speed internet. The coach was left in various yards for years until Sir Topscam Fatt bought him over to Sodor, repainted him and gave him newer computers as Sudrians still had trouble finding good internet service where they lived, he would be pulled on Gordon’s express trains and have tons of people working in him, unaware that all they did was download hardcore pornography on his internet browsers and scare old ladies.

The Tai-Chi Car
Built in China, the Tai-Chi car was bought over for female riders to get fit while riding to work, a yoga master was hired to do his onboard lessons, the problem being that he owned tons of money in gambling debt to the Chinese mafia and one day, many gangsters got tickets to ride, the yoga master was teaching a class with the Controller of Fatt as the mobsters arrived, thankfully Sir Topham Hatt’s Kaoken and Krav Maga lessons paid off as he managed to beat the crap out of every mobster like it was a Bruce Lee movie or an average episode of Power Rangers, there was lots of bloodshed after that, Topham ordered Hiro who was pulling the express to stop, uncouple the coach and shunt it past a set of old buffers, there was too much evidence of a brawl and would be hard to explain to police, having it derailed, a fire was started as the mafia corpses burned in it, Hiro was then re-coupled to his train and raced away with the Fat Troll and the Yoga Master riding away from their ordeal, fire and police came in minutes later to identify the wrecked coach, finding burnt skeletons within.

Pops the Salad Bar Coach
Pops was owned by some hipster guy who often had him connected to trains back on the mainland, he had fresh salad and toppings delivered to him daily and was popular with many riders, Pops however would end up spending lots of time in yards awaiting a long-distance passenger train to be made, his owner soon had him shipped off to Sodor where there were more frequent trains, he was connected to dining cars as he would soon become popular again, however Pops’ salad supplier was starting to stifle in quality as they got their marijuana sacks and lettuce containers mixed up, causing passengers to become real lazy, the local food and drug investigator guys would show up to inspect Pops and found his tainted load of salads. Pops was soon placed in a yard near a police station with “Condemmed” tape all around him.

Manhiem the Engine cut off from Civilization
Manhiem was a 4-4-2 tank engine built during the late 1800’s, during World War I, he was transported to a secret British laboratory in Madagascar to pull loads to and from the docks, however with the Germans attacking Manhiem ended up hiding in his shed, hearing explosions as he would come out of the shed after months, only to find the lab gone and the equipment all in shambles, only the water tower working, the tank engine would soon have to learn how to survive on his own, learning to siphon water from trees, burning wood, using local vegetation for oil, swinging from vines and traveling on tree trunks, Manhiem also learned to communicate with nature then become what was essentially Tarzan the Tank Engine, during a safari run on day in our century, Sir Topham Hatt spotted the savage engine swinging from a vine doing a Tarzan yell, tricking the engine to get put in a cage, he hauled him via tramp steamship back to Sodor to have him re-civilized, only for him to climb on trees, throw coal at people, eating cows and leaving frightening corpses around the island, people crapping their pants upon sight.

Manabu the Shinkansen Class 0
Sent straight out of Japan, Manabu was one of few Class 0 engines still in operational status, with a new gantry line going straight from Tidmouth to Out Stack, Shetland in the Mainland, working with Pip and Emma, Manabu pulls his rescued coaches along with a freshly built observation car as he took passengers from the mainline to Sodor and back, he was indeed amazingly fast, but not fast enough to notice a ISIS-affiliated terrorist mowing down people in his lorry, running out of gas on the tracks with Manabu ramming the truck head on, killing him, the terrorist and many passengers almost instantly.

Hector the LB&SCR E1 Tank Engine
Hector was built around 1874 for Thomas' original railway, he was none other than Thomas' father as he raised the young engine we all know and love during his youngest years. Hector was often shunting coaches for bigger engines, quickly getting them set and ready to hook-up in an instant. What would become defining of this engine was when he was bought out with his wife to another railway known as the File Island Railway, this was a line working for File Island in the Digital World, Hector would end up as a schoolteacher for younger engines on railway operations, complete with working in a massive school building. None other than Sherman and Evan were two of his students as he would teach them as young engines. The island would end up having a fascist uprising that would have Hector helping in pulling war trains and fighting off evil federal warriors, this would go on until the island was split apart, railroad, airship and sea pirates would arise as Hector spent years warding them off in the city of Cherry Creek, upon Sherman's return and the digidestined's help in removing the pirates from the island. Hector would act as mentor whenever he could for the destined as the little engine watched as the island's business returned and newer ones, keeping the railways busy as ever.

As a rejected Thomas character, Hector was given the chance to visit his son, the old tank engine would race throughout the island to find his son, Thomas was shocked to see the old engine there as it was quite the reunion, his reason for rejection? The old engine often reacted to loud shunts and whatnot thinking there was a bomb, often getting engines hidden in sheds to avoid what he thought was an attacker.

His reason for the Great Race was to do what his student and friend Sherman did and win the race for his island, carrying nothing but his own passenger coaches, wanting to become a racer like Thomas and Sherman, hoping to get File Island noticed.

Lester the Freight S.M.U.
Lester was a brand new type of engine made to test a single unit of hauling containers with a built-in crane, an early intermodal engine with a crane which meant he could take small loads in boxes along with a built-in goods van section as he could lighten rail traffic, he was brought on to Sodor to move certain boxes from cargo ships to Sodor Research, Lester would transport even more unspecific things to the facility, Victor waiting for Lester as he unloaded the goods, Victor, Kevin and Perdue would then take the box inside and weird sci-fi noises were heard in the big lab building, Lester’s shady activity was kept to a minimum when Hit recorded for episodes, having him do an episode of showing off his S.M.U. duties.

Heimlich the Pickup Truck Tank Engine
Heimlich was built for the Deutsche Reichsbahn back in 1942 for the S.S. to haul officers to the battlefield faster than other engines at the time, often holding up supply trains and consists headed to concentration camps, after Hitler’s loss, the pickup truck tank engine would escape to Brazil for years hauling trains around the entire country, years later he would again find himself bought out to Sodor where he would be operating on standard gauge, Heimlich would be pulling trains around the island, shunting cars, doing street running and even some subway work, the little engine would recognize Manfred at Crewe painted rather fancy colors, acting as a spy, Heimlich tried to escape the railroad only for Manfred to catch him at a pair of buffers, the former armored engine wanting the ex-nazi to join him on spreading fascism on Sodor and bring it all back, yet some troublesome trucks overhear the news, having cops, military, news choppers and more catch him and Manfred. Both engines are currently under federal storage.

Krillbert the Popsicle Streamliner
Krillbert was a streamliner funded by the McKrogestle Food Company™ to promote their Mr. Bushmill’s popsicles, Krillbert would pull streamlined passenger trains to make passengers take interest in eating their spaceship-shaped popsicles as he raced on the main line, racing past Gordon and driving the engine insane, Gordon one day would challenge Krillbert to racing up his hill, both engines pumping pistons to show their passengers who was the better engine, Krillbert was winning and accelerating to where he would be going down Gordon’s Hill at well past 125 mph, only to accelerate faster and faster towards Wellsworth station, only to smash into James’ oil tankers, thankfully none of the crewmen or James were hurt, but Krillbert, multiple passengers and his crewmen were burnt to a crisp after the fires were extinguished, many survived and sued McKrogestle for damages.

The Nintendo Game Engine
Nintendo during the 90’s had lots of secret experimental game systems to work with the Game Boy, Super Nintendo and N64 during the midst of it all, aside from the Virtual Boy, there was the Game Bike, Game Car, Nintendo Satellite, a flying saucer that would have kids flying all over the world, basically Earthbound Go, Mario Kart Go, Legend of Zelda Go and this, the Nintendo Game Engine, what would be the precursor to the Gamecube was made to play VR and other games on the go, it could be played by kids while riding the train or even engines themselves, Thomas managing to unwrap it and gathering cartridges to play Mario, Star Fox, Earthbound and more, mostly experimental games as the Number 1 blue engine raced around the island trying to get the high score or beat the JRPG boss, other engines were soon grabbing it for themselves, the engines were addicted to it’s games, Percy was managing to race a virtual Bowser to Brendam Docks as he accidentally sent the Game Engine fly through the buffers and fall into the stinky sea, engines getting into a steam brawl until Topham had to have every engine stay in their sheds until he could get the Game Engine out of the reef.

Rihanna the Steam Shark
Rihanna was a special submarine engine made in Atlantis for the Trans-Atlantica Railway, delivering freight and people under the sea, the engine scared others from her shape, being made by shark people after all, Vinnie really scared by her. Rihanna would only have the Controller of Obesity speak to her as she did her job pulling her streamlined coaches, racing across branch lines and spooking engines, her rejection was caused by the fact she ate fridge wagons full of fish to eat.

Bennett Bell the Out of Place Victorian Single Engine
When the Caledonian Railway built their famous Single drive locomotive long after the need for such a engine had passed for excursion services a small railway company decided to try and one up the Caledonian and built not just a locomotive with a single drive wheel but also with of the hallmarks of the Victorian age of steam with the front wheels being separate axles and not a proper front swivel bogey.

Lots and lots of brass work and a huge drive wheel. The engine truly felt as if it had been built not more than 20 years after the Rainhill Trials. Unfortunately for the Railway their publicity stunt did not have as great a reception with many finding the locomotive a tad bit too garish with all the brass and so Bennett Bell was sold to the NWR so the engine would not be scrapped. This was actually a good turn of events for the young but antiquated engine as the Fat Controller had him rebuilt to be part of the track inspection fleet and the workmen at Crovan's Gate gave him a warning light in the place where a dome would be to allow engines to avoid danger.

Reason for Rejection: The engine looked too plain in the eyes of Hit and the fact the engine resembled a design recently created by Hasbro made sure Bennett Bell would never appear on the show.

Carla the Compact Tram

Sarge the Jeep Engine
Sarge was part of the British military during World War II, pulling goods trains or escorting generals to harbors, airfields and army bases, the engine often had machine guns hidden in him as he could shoot German aircraft down or mortars. Sarge spent years shunting coal trucks at a power plant after the war as he had never got a repaint, this is until Top-Fatts found the engine on sale, bringing him over, overhauling him, giving him a new paintjob and soon chuffing in WWII anniversary parades, however one parade Sarge saw a model airplane of a German warplane in the sky, thinking it was Hitler’s return, he fired waves of bullets and scared people as he tried to strike down the radio-controlled airplane, two boys had owned it and were charged with causing Sarge’s flashbacks.

Rex-Treme the Super Steamer
Rex was made by a Kickstarter/Patreon startup company “21st Century Steam™” in a old engine shed to re-invent the steam locomotive, taking eighteen years of funding, he was soon brought to steam and shown the many new features that could resurrect steam power, a properly insulated boiler, re-circulation, streamlining, a new type of whistle that sounded harmonic, high-tech safety valves, L.E.D. headlight, internal saddle tanks, oil compression, computer controls, electric braking, front-view cameras, Rex-Treme was said to be the future, he was tested at Knapford, having him race Connor and Caitlin all the way to Ariesdale, during the race, Rex-Treme smashed level crossing gates, his smoke got in his driver’s face due to a design flaw that was never noticed, his front end coming off the track and onto another one for an unwarranted drift, Rex felt his wheels spark as his engineer tried to put his brakes, causing him to spin off track.

Babe Ruth the Baseball Bat S.M.U.
Babe Ruth was named after the famed baseball player, Baldwin Locomotive Works was trying to invent a new idea in locomotive operation, giving him a forwards cab, his design having his tender built into him with a coach, making him into a steam multiple unit, what was strange was that some pipes formed what looked like a handle for a bat, thus his namesake, Babe would do commuter services and freighters right until the 50’s, left in a scrapyard until Stephen Hatt bought him and brought him over, Babe Ruth would soon pull trains about the island, Babe was made of a Titanium shell, meaning he could ram other engines and cars off the tracks, often getting into steamy vs. diesel fights with his war cry “Play Ball!” going demolition derby on diesels, Sir Topham Hatt was annoyed that his grandson brought over what was a MMA fighter on rails.

Jeff the Vertical Piston Engine
Jeff was British Railway’s secret attempt at reviving steam, his vertical pistons made as a test for extra power for switching cars around, Jeff managed to star in a Monty Python sketch once and made people laugh, the engine would be sent to Sodor on loan, he would be getting trains set up for Henry, Hiro, Emily and others, Jeff seemed to be really useful, that is until you find out about his addiction to his MySpace, Facebook and other blogs, thus ruining his workload.

Gong-Gu the Rickshaw Engine
Gong-Gu was built in China as some wackjob’s idea of a proper steam engine, oddly enough he worked well, he had a convertible roof, smokestack too high to cause smoke problems, air conditioning, coal and water not having to travel too far, it was clear he was based on the 1800’s novel the Steam Man of the Prairies. Gong-Gu was sent to Sodor as steam was making it’s way out of China as it modernized, the engine would chuff around pulling his trains, white people were offended by this and demanded Gong-Gu should be censored.

Thrust the Rocket Racer Engine
A villainous rocket bullet engine, Thrust arrived on the Island for the next Great Race, having tons of gadgets he would be able to cheat in the race, placing tons of tricks and traps all over the main line as he would remotely activate ‘em all, normally ending up backfiring. The rocket engine for a while would do passenger duty after the race, problem was the fact rocket engines like him take off quickly and have the passengers stuck in their seats from sinking in.

Creepy Pete the Coupe Engine
Creepy Pete was another Great Race engine, looking like a haunted house on wheels, Pete would pull onto the starting line, armed with all sorts of things, a feral dragon from the roof to star fires, spider guns to web up engines, Phantoms for smokescreen and other frightening things. After the race he was often traveling the countryside pulling the mail train, often triggering ghost engines to appear more frequently and scaring people left and right.

Albert the Amazing Transforming Engine
Albert the “Amazing Convert-A-Motive” was one of the most gadget-loaded engines in the new Great Race, able to transform into various vehicles, hover over water, guns and cannons for combat, radars, rail mines and more, normally undoing whatever Thrust had planned during the race. After the race, Thrust would operate as part-time engine, part-time bus, part-time crop duster, part-time yacht and just be working all the time, Albert broke down after a full week to transporting people.

Barney the Crimson Haybailer Engine
Barney was a experimental German propeller engine sent to participate in the Great Race, armed with a machine gun and able to jump over obstacles, making him a powerful player despite only having two tricks up his sleeves, Barney would zoom around the Island and pass other engines with ease like Hugo. A femme fatal on the track, always getting her makeup done and paintwork before the race so she wouldn’t look like she came out of a coal mine, Seline often just sprayed her spray tan, lotions and other comedic products on the other racers, causing oil slicks all around the track. After the race she would take passenger trains on the Little Western, unaware that boys were fighting for her love all the time, causing mass confusion and delay.

Briggsby the Army Steampunk Special Camelback Engine
Briggsby was a import engine during WWII fighting on the German battlefront, gunning down German tanks and aircraft plus rolling down soldiers who were unlucky enough to fall onto the tracks, years afterwards he joined the Great Race, his military-grade weaponry would help him in nailing other engines to catch first place. After the race he would act as a anti-terrorist guard and keep trains safe, however he did mistaken a Indian man for Osama Bin Laden as he had a biffed turban plus he had no razor with him, firing his cannon and nailing a delicatessen, meat flew everywhere.

Mac the Bulletproof Gangster Engine
An engine who was part of Capone’s railroad mafia, had seating for eight people in his cab, had bulletproof streamlining plus machine guns attached to him, Mac was often the “Wheelengine” for most bank robberies, quickly taking off with the loot and racing through the City of New York with police cars, blimps and angry engines going after him. Mac managed to escape the law and even found himself one day in the Great Race, his guns and armoring were able to give him a method of race-battling as he drove at getaway speeds. After the race Mac would pull express trains, however his crewmen had managed to steal over millions of pounds in stolen electronics, diamonds, jewelry and other things, that and helping engines who were smuggling things around the island.

Clydeswell the Arkansas Chugabug Engine
Another Hillbilly invention, Clydeswell was built to be a cheap-to-run and maintain steam engine, the little engine was popular with kids, he would join the Great Race as he was seen to have great speed, Clydeswell would be unarmed, having to dodge every attack, he was considered physically weak in the combat department. After the race he was pulling vans and trucks about the island, often helping in the Blue Mountain Quarry as he loaded trucks and hauled them out, however he would get hit by Thrust as the signalman had forgotten about how fast rocket engines go, the Chugabug’s parts flying everywhere on impact.

Jean the Terrific Streamliner
Jean was straight out of the Santa Fe, pulling the Superchief from Chicago to Los Angles with his amazing pulling power and speed, he would join the Great Race and manage to outrun other engines without the usage of combat gadgets, having proper air intake as he outran fellow engines. Ali was built by a wizard to be able to run on a flying carpet instead of wheels, having him given small magic generators to have his driving wheels keep him afloat, Ali would fly into Sodor and pull trains with ease as he had no friction and could travel like a Steampunk Maglev, what stopped him from being featured was that a rival magic carpet engine Jafar came in and rammed him down, causing quite the magical brawl.

Simple Simon the Saloon Car
Simon was a French-made saloon car with a heavy assortment of drinks inside of him, people getting hammered as he was pulled in late-night trains, making it more convenient for passengers to get some fine wine on the way to a party to be “Loosened up” as it were, however the bar unions were not pleased with Simple Simon as some guys lit the poor coach on fire and after the fire trucks came and put out the blaze, he was pretty screwed up after that.

Ravus the Crappy Passenger Car

Stossel the Steam Pogo Stick

The “Bouncing Boiler” as they called him would end up in storage for years at a time, that was until I sold it to Sir Topham Hatt as the railway’s newest attraction, Stossel was soon jumping again, yet his operator didn’t realize that he had a limited amount of fuel within him, some of his coal got leaked out still aflame as his operator burnt off his legs, screaming like an idiot as falling off of Stossel, having him bounce right into a brick wall.

Big Smoke the Bloated Engine
Big Smoke was a fat drink of water who worked in a town called San Andreas pulling passengers around, affiliated with the "Grove Street Family" he was involved in a number of locomotive shootouts, selling drugs and of course eating way too much. The Equally-Fat Controller would buy him over as Big Smoke was soon put to work, however he was always sneaking around eating anything in a refrigerator van, Topps was annoyed, not wanting any competition, however luck, or bad luck in this case as Big Smoke had his friend C.J. help him chase some mythical consist called "The D@mn Train" all around the island, containing the legendary two number 9's a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two 45's, one with extra cheese and a large soda. It was never known what all that was as Big Smoke and C.J. accidentally hit a pair of buffers and fell into a river, Big Smoke only stated this to C.J. "All you had to do was follow that d@mn engine C.J.!"

Sheldon the Baby Carriage
Sheldon was made to haul really young engines that had not grown into their line of gauge, the small carriage was brought to Sodor to be used for transporting baby engines, many engines were in question about the possibility of "Baby engines" never remembering being infants or being held in human arms, however it was discovered that Sheldon was ordered by the Arsedale engines so that they could were bonnets and act like toddlers and travel cheaply around the world, making everyone furious when they figured it out, poor Sheldon felt like crap that he was essentially made for a scam.

Mifune the Mallard Five
The Mallard Five is the locomotive Go Mifune drives in the Great Race. The engine was designed, built, and created by Daisuke Mifune, Go's father. He features a set of special devices which Go Mifune uses throughout the race, such as turbo boost, grip sand for the wheels, battering ram cowcatcher, bulletproof windows, illumination headlights, water skis and can launch a small flying robot to send messages and spy on people, the Mallard Five was used for the newest Great Race, however he attracted all sorts of crimes and shenanigans, such as an engine hauling stolen diamonds, a locomotive killer, a giant Mammoth Locomotive that was made of gold and more.

Flynn the Light Engine
Flynn was a GWR 14xx tank engine that worked near a laboratory that was building a massive supercomputer, Flynn was ordered to push in some trucks full of computer equipment, getting hit by some experimental ray, causing him with his driver and fireman to be absorbed into the system and forced into a digital world for 44 years until 1987 as the computer got hooked into the internet, allowing him to wonder the digital world for another 29 years until one graceful morning in Sodor Research as he hacked himself into a special ray that materialized him back into the real world, his design clearly changed, Flynn could chuff at ridiculously high speeds, even faster than the hyperloop thanks to his new powers, but of course his constant sonic booms blew everyone away.

Nicademus Andron the Sandcrawler Engine
The sandcrawler engine was built on Tatooine by the jawas and used for the rail network that was recently being restored, Nicademus would pull trains of junk robots and spaceship parts to the Skywalker farms or local foundry. Through sub-space communication, Sodor would get Nicademus via hijacked Star Destroyer which flew all the way to Earth via lightspeed, then crashing near the island causing a tidal wave putting the sandcrawler engine at the docks, Nicademus came in rusted and was unable to work.

Tiny Train
This little engine was from a separate book series made in the late 90’s, Tiny Train was part of some railroad that serviced a zoo and some small businesses, him along with a passenger engine and diesel freighter I think, looks more like a box steamer to me, anyhow Tiny train was purchased to help on the Little Western, only problem was his high-pitched voice was rather annoying to hear and drove everyone in a 50-ft. radius insane.

Wilford the Snowpiercer
In 2031, Wilford was an attempt to counteract the most likely made-up Manbearpig through pulling a massive train powered by his nuclear engine that travels a circumnavigationed track, created by the transportation magnate Wilford. By 2085, the smart people inhabit the extravagant front cars and the "Dum-Dums" inhabit the tail in squalid and brutal conditions. Under watch by Wilford's guards, they are brought only gelatinous protein bars to eat and kept in their place in the social order by his engineer Minister Mason, while sometimes small children are taken away to be used as spare parts. Wilford would one day accidentally hit the old Delirium (Which had rolled out of a snowdrift) as he accidentally got it working again, sending him back in time back to normal Sodor, however due to the lack of snow around him, he would go on a runaway rampage around the island, having every switchman and engineer crapping themselves as Wilford and his train were racing about the island with switches changed to keep him from derailing, he was soon sent out to the Mainland bridge as he ended up leaving the island, months later, the engines would hear of Wilford hitting Al Gore and stopping Manbearpig for good, crashing in the process.

Rigby the Air-Power Engine
Rigby was made to operate in flammable areas, built to shunt trucks by being filled with air. He would be bought by Topham to work in the new Arelsdale Oil Refinery and move oil tankers about the railyard without setting a blaze, he would do this for months on end, unfortunately, Rigby would end up working with a mentally retarded engine called Mortacai who was to pull an oil train to Knapford, however Mortacai's embers spewing from his stack would light up a leaking oil car, soon catching it aflame as Rigby to run away, the fact he was air powered did not make him into anything fast would cost him dearly as a oil drum exploded, causing Rigby to be blown off track as he watched Mortacai run away, Rigby watching him run off as he was engulfed in flames, Rigby would be found under a collapsed smokestack as fire crews pulled out the rubble.

Kravendish the Target Sentinel
Kravendish the Target Sentinel was made for the new Target on Sodor, like the Sodor Walmart, it had shopping carts on rails that held more than regular carts, Kravendish would push the carts back into the indoor corral so shoppers would not have to grab them in the wind, snow, hail and rain. Kravendish was doing this for a while but would develop a rivalry with Thorton the Walmart Engine as both engines worked for competing department stores, sometimes doing a direct delivery to compete with Thorton's services. The Target-owned sentinel would plan the sabotage of Thorton by convincing his shopping carts to bump him into a McDonald's. Upon investigation one of the carts confessed and Kravindish was sold for scrap to keep Target's image clean. Later investigation of his shed showed photos the sentinel took showing that he had photo evidence that many of Wal-Mart's employees are pedophiles.

Prissy the Pink Pony Engine
Prissy was a birthday party present for a rich girl back in 1884, built to be her own private train complete with a horsehead, Prissy would spend a glorious.... 5 years of service before her owner became 10 years old and went off to finishing school, upon returning at 16 years old, her owner saw the engine as a waste of shed space as she found a bigger and better private engine, Prissy was bought out by a circus as a ride for the kids and would do this for years until late 2015 when some fat pseudo-intellectual with a neckbeard, fedora, black trenchcoat and a katanna in hand found her rotting in a warehouse somewhere near Thames, being rich himself, he bought and restored her to working order for him and his fellow pseudo-intellectuals at some convention. Prissy would end up having Cheetos stains on her seats, leftover fleshlights, body pillows, and other creepy objects left in her seats. Her new owner took her to Sodor for another convention, Prissy had become really rude towards the other engines, often spreading her political beliefs on the other engines, Hiro and Charlie got sick of her as they bumped her with some troublesome trucks, sending her flying towards a yet to be repaired bridge as she was sent falling off a broken section, plummeting down below like Diesel 10, only there was no barge down below as her full head of steam couldn't take the sudden temperature change and caused her boiler to explode.

St. Frank the Railway Gun
Sergeant Frank was an American railroad gun built around World War I and taken over to the U.K. to shoot German ships and aircraft, built with two boilers to move the gun up and down and to position himself in case an engine wasn't around, Frank would one day be restored in the museum he was left in, taken to Sodor to be pulled around by the engines to prevent Somali pirates from invading, Frank was towed by Henry, Sam, Murdoch, Stanley and others, however German engines like Marklin found Frank to be offensive and went on strike. The Hatt of Fatt was not impressed by the strike, having Frank placed at the nearest local military base, Marklin had stuffed a brakevan full of dynamite as he shoved it at the gate, smashing through and blowing off Frank's face. Boy was that a mess, the railgun coach was soon taken back to the museum as they are currently working on a new face for him.

Brickhead the ACE 3000 Engine
Brickhead worked for a American railroad as a experimental engine, used to test new methods of steam operation as he was made for maintenance crews to easily repair and modern engineers to drive. Brickhead unfortunately didn't live up to either of those features and was sold to Sodor, being a competitive engine with a reputation for being a annoyance and will do anything to win a competition, including ridiculous hijinks. He views smaller engines such as James and Percy as "Total Lame-Balls guys", often calling them derogatory names such as "The Red Midget" (James) and "The Green Gremlin" (Percy), and often takes pleasure in hitting on the female engines. Because of his annoying behavior, hardly any of the engines get along with him and often wanted to tape his mouth shut, Porter got tired of Brickhead's ocean jokes as he stuffed a giant sausage in his mouth and then taped his eyes shut, causing Brickhead to flop backwards and knock out some buffers, hitting a crane and landing on his head, he is currently in the Steamworks' intensive care ward.

Lewis the American Mogul Engine
Lewis is a strong goods engine who was built by the Rodgers Locomotives Works in 1897. A man from the UK named Harlan Nimmo purchased the engine as well as two other engines built in US for use on his railway. Though Lewis and the other two engines were within loading Gauge for the UK they were sent to Doncaster works to be given a proper running board new cabs, Buffers and tenders.

Lewis is proud of his Rodgers heritage but loves his new home as well finding the goods work a adventure. Oddly Lewis has a distaste for shunting and running passenger trains. It's not that he feels he is too important to shunt he simply has a stiff valve gear that is not suited to back and forth operation like that needed in shunting. As for passenger work he prefers doing what he knows he is good at a point made even clearer thanks to his rebuild as Doncaster gave him Chain link couplings and not Screw link which are preferred for passenger duties.

Despite all this Lewis does what he is told but he will try his hardest to get out of passenger work.

Aldrin was a early test engine made for using rockets as propulsion back during WWII when word of the Germans had built the V8 rocket to space, Aldrin was soon under works in ’47 and in ’48 was up to steam on Sodor, the engine was set to steam and built pressure until he had his throttle put to forward, roars of steam and waves of it seen as the little engine whooshed forwards, pulling a train of 8 trucks as his load rockets managed to nearly deafen everybody around him, Aldrin thankfully didn’t scald his driver or fireman nor crash, but he was considered to be dangerous for operation.

Chorky the Megatrain.Com Streamliner Engine
Chorky is the founder of a railway that is made as a method of cheaper rail travel that could compete with airlines, AmTrak, Virgin Rail and Buses, mostly working on Eastern, Western coasts of the U.S., small farming towns, Western U.K. and such, similar to International Railways, he was planning to expand to Sodor, since most of the engines at the time were too busy hauling freighters from all over the railway, Chorky would come in with his girlfriend Lumpkinella and was soon having his engines pulling passenger trains all over the Island of Sodor, only for people to learn about some of his “Railroad’s” problems, such as the fact his company barley owned any track of his own, needing him and his fellow engines to wait for Thomas and others to pull their trains out of the way first, plus coach wheel axels broke frequently, needing Bertie to come in and save the day, engines running out of coal due to tenders and bunkers being way too small.

Tad the Tall Boiler Engine
Tad was a tall vertical-boiler engine made mostly for getting other engines steamed up in the morning, by using some steel hoses, they connected Tad to Gordon, Henry, James and others then had them running in 20 minutes, meaning work could start earlier, engineers and fireman could have more time to sleep, then get to work with more energy, Tad would then shunt cars and help power any other steam equipment around Sodor, his downfall was that one day he was being hauled by Diesel over to Ulfstead Castle, forgetting that Tad’s boiler wouldn’t make clearance at the oncoming tunnel, Diesel drove in and caused the poor engine to hit the roof, flip up and smack his face on the roof, giving him a black face, a bad gift that kept on giving as people thought he was wearing blackface makeup, having social justice warriors assault him as he was being taken to the Steamworks, poor Tad had to wear a armored mask for months after that, Hit decided not to show the engine’s sad story.

Frosty the Snowengine
Frosty was a mysterious vertical-boiler engine that arrived around Christmas time on Sodor when it snowed, always appearing to engines when alone in Henry’s forest, causing engines to watch him pull igloo coaches behind him, the ice windows making it hard to tell who he carried inside, many people and engines were always trying to catch this cables engine but to no avail, around March the snow would soon have to give in to Spring, Frosty soon disappeared after that, many said he melted, some say he had tracks to return to the North Pole to Santa Claus’ village, it is not certain about his whereabouts, but some say the engine gives fun rides to children who believe in it.

Eric and Erica the Vintage Monorail
Eric and Erica were part of the legendary Lisbon and Ballybunion Monorail system, the multi-boilered monorail engine used to haul passengers and cattle through the countryside in Ireland all the way up to the early 20’s until cars became an advent in their business, it was stated they were scrapped with the entire fleet when that happened, only to be found out they survived and spent almost a hundred years in some mansion when they were found in it’s cellar, as the mansion was being cleared out for a new buyer, they were mined out from there and were bought by the Earl of Sodor, soon to be part of his own replica railway, complete with new coaches and everything, the duo engine was happy and enjoyed days of service, that was until the duo ended up finding a liquor cabinet and ended up hitting Glynn, thus needed them to go to rehab for weeks on end. They were rejected mostly due to them being a Irish stereotype.

Florence the Minivan Bullet Engine
Florrence was a attempt by Hit Entertainment to mock the soccer moms and their constant complaints about Thomas and Friends, having her drive in and nag engines constantly, become a massive hypocrite, needlessly employ safety features like seat belts, lifeboats and other things. During filming she hit one the back of Diesel 10’s scrap train and flung herself in there, looking like a horrid wreck.

Grimsby the GWR Steamotor Rail Hearse
Grimbsy was built for the GWR but after he was purchased by N.W.R., he was converted into a hearse, he became depressed and tried multiple times to end his existence.

Timmy Turner the Tank Engine
Timmy was an average engine that no one understands, his driver and firewoman plus his babysitter Vicky always giving him commands, but the doom and gloom up in his room is broken instantly when his magical fishy friends grant every wish to spin reality, in other words, this small little engine had fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, this would have him warp Sodor into many wacky situations to be in, however this last waaay to many seasons, gained too many crappy main characters in it and the animation budget got cheaper with it going to flash, Timmy was soon rejected off of the Arsdale Railway as kids just didn’t find relevance in him anymore. Like other Nickelodeon properties. (Sans Power Rangers since they always manage to entertain kids)

Rod the Retrofuture Engine
Rod was a specialized automated Steam Engine made to operate without the need of a driver or fireman way back in the 30's, he brought onto Sodor to test the possibility of automated train travel for the Northwestern Railway as Sir Topham Hatt could had men program his daily routes into him. Part of his operation had a camera pointed down that reads colors, a colored square with a different command for each one was placed in between the tracks as the camera reading would have Rod operate to that command, such a red for stop, green for go upon the signal, yellow for slow down, blue for stopping at the station, Etc. But if someone accidentally poured some paint or anything on said squares, Rod would take the command wrong and possible go something inaccurate.

Gourd the Submarine Tank Engine
Gourd was part of a secret rescue organization called “International Rail-scue” a group of engines and cars made to perform rescues by land, sea or air. Gourd would often push stuff out of the way or dive into the rivers and sea to do rescues there, however Hit didn’t feature him as he looked too much like Gerry Anderson’s Thunderbird 4.

Gargamel the Cauldron Cart
Gargamel was made by old witches during the ancient year of 1955 in Sweden when witchcraft was in it’s early stages, he was used to haul mass potions from estate railroad owned by some mansion to some sewage plant yard located near a school, Gargamel would be taught lots of pseudo-sorcery skills as he learned about small blue people called the Smurfs, these little creatures could be morphed into gold, or eaten, various spellbooks are iffy on what they do, Gargamel would have various minion engines over the years to pull him around and help him in his schemes, he learned of a Smurf village that existed on Sodor, managing to get there, he used his various spells to attack the tiny people only for Papa Smurf, Brainy and others to fly in and save the day once more, Gargamel was found by Sir Topham Hatt and soon put to work at the Sodor Textile Mill, having to haul sludge from the various dyes used to make clothing.

Conrad the Cybercafe Car
Conrad was an old Southern Pacific coach restored in the 90’s to become a mobile cybercafé for Amtrak, having lots of computers onboard for people to use as mobile phones were not available at the time, Conrad would be pulled in trains for years until cell phones became more common along with high-speed internet. The coach was left in various yards for years until Sir Topscam Fatt bought him over to Sodor, repainted him and gave him newer computers as Sudrians still had trouble finding good internet service where they lived, he would be pulled on Gordon’s express trains and have tons of people working in him, unaware that all they did was download hardcore pornography on his internet browsers and scare old ladies.

The Tai-Chi Car
Built in China, the Tai-Chi car was bought over for female riders to get fit while riding to work, a yoga master was hired to do his onboard lessons, the problem being that he owned tons of money in gambling debt to the Chinese mafia and one day, many gangsters got tickets to ride, the yoga master was teaching a class with the Controller of Fatt as the mobsters arrived, thankfully Sir Topham Hatt’s Kaoken and Krav Maga lessons paid off as he managed to beat the crap out of every mobster like it was a Bruce Lee movie or an average episode of Power Rangers, there was lots of bloodshed after that, Topham ordered Hiro who was pulling the express to stop, uncouple the coach and shunt it past a set of old buffers, there was too much evidence of a brawl and would be hard to explain to police, having it derailed, a fire was started as the mafia corpses burned in it, Hiro was then re-coupled to his train and raced away with the Fat Troll and the Yoga Master riding away from their ordeal, fire and police came in minutes later to identify the wrecked coach, finding burnt skeletons within.

Pops the Salad Bar Coach
Pops was owned by some hipster guy who often had him connected to trains back on the mainland, he had fresh salad and toppings delivered to him daily and was popular with many riders, Pops however would end up spending lots of time in yards awaiting a long-distance passenger train to be made, his owner soon had him shipped off to Sodor where there were more frequent trains, he was connected to dining cars as he would soon become popular again, however Pops’ salad supplier was starting to stifle in quality as they got their marijuana sacks and lettuce containers mixed up, causing passengers to become real lazy, the local food and drug investigator guys would show up to inspect Pops and found his tainted load of salads. Pops was soon placed in a yard near a police station with “Condemmed” tape all around him.

Manhiem the Engine cut off from Civilization
Manhiem was a 4-4-2 tank engine built during the late 1800’s, during World War I, he was transported to a secret British laboratory in Madagascar to pull loads to and from the docks, however with the Germans attacking Manhiem ended up hiding in his shed, hearing explosions as he would come out of the shed after months, only to find the lab gone and the equipment all in shambles, only the water tower working, the tank engine would soon have to learn how to survive on his own, learning to siphon water from trees, burning wood, using local vegetation for oil, swinging from vines and traveling on tree trunks, Manhiem also learned to communicate with nature then become what was essentially Tarzan the Tank Engine, during a safari run on day in our century, Sir Topham Hatt spotted the savage engine swinging from a vine doing a Tarzan yell, tricking the engine to get put in a cage, he hauled him via tramp steamship back to Sodor to have him re-civilized, only for him to climb on trees, throw coal at people, eating cows and leaving frightening corpses around the island, people crapping their pants upon sight.

Manabu the Shinkansen Class 0
Sent straight out of Japan, Manabu was one of few Class 0 engines still in operational status, with a new gantry line going straight from Tidmouth to Out Stack, Shetland in the Mainland, working with Pip and Emma, Manabu pulls his rescued coaches along with a freshly built observation car as he took passengers from the mainline to Sodor and back, he was indeed amazingly fast, but not fast enough to notice a ISIS-affiliated terrorist mowing down people in his lorry, running out of gas on the tracks with Manabu ramming the truck head on, killing him, the terrorist and many passengers almost instantly.

Hector the LB&SCR E1 Tank Engine
Hector was built around 1874 for Thomas' original railway, he was none other than Thomas' father as he raised the young engine we all know and love during his youngest years. Hector was often shunting coaches for bigger engines, quickly getting them set and ready to hook-up in an instant. What would become defining of this engine was when he was bought out with his wife to another railway known as the File Island Railway, this was a line working for File Island in the Digital World, Hector would end up as a schoolteacher for younger engines on railway operations, complete with working in a massive school building. None other than Sherman and Evan were two of his students as he would teach them as young engines. The island would end up having a fascist uprising that would have Hector helping in pulling war trains and fighting off evil federal warriors, this would go on until the island was split apart, railroad, airship and sea pirates would arise as Hector spent years warding them off in the city of Cherry Creek, upon Sherman's return and the digidestined's help in removing the pirates from the island. Hector would act as mentor whenever he could for the destined as the little engine watched as the island's business returned and newer ones, keeping the railways busy as ever.

As a rejected Thomas character, Hector was given the chance to visit his son, the old tank engine would race throughout the island to find his son, Thomas was shocked to see the old engine there as it was quite the reunion, his reason for rejection? The old engine often reacted to loud shunts and whatnot thinking there was a bomb, often getting engines hidden in sheds to avoid what he thought was an attacker.

His reason for the Great Race was to do what his student and friend Sherman did and win the race for his island, carrying nothing but his own passenger coaches, wanting to become a racer like Thomas and Sherman, hoping to get File Island noticed.

Lester the Freight S.M.U.
Lester was a brand new type of engine made to test a single unit of hauling containers with a built-in crane, an early intermodal engine with a crane which meant he could take small loads in boxes along with a built-in goods van section as he could lighten rail traffic, he was brought on to Sodor to move certain boxes from cargo ships to Sodor Research, Lester would transport even more unspecific things to the facility, Victor waiting for Lester as he unloaded the goods, Victor, Kevin and Perdue would then take the box inside and weird sci-fi noises were heard in the big lab building, Lester’s shady activity was kept to a minimum when Hit recorded for episodes, having him do an episode of showing off his S.M.U. duties.

Heimlich the Pickup Truck Tank Engine
Heimlich was built for the Deutsche Reichsbahn back in 1942 for the S.S. to haul officers to the battlefield faster than other engines at the time, often holding up supply trains and consists headed to concentration camps, after Hitler’s loss, the pickup truck tank engine would escape to Brazil for years hauling trains around the entire country, years later he would again find himself bought out to Sodor where he would be operating on standard gauge, Heimlich would be pulling trains around the island, shunting cars, doing street running and even some subway work, the little engine would recognize Manfred at Crewe painted rather fancy colors, acting as a spy, Heimlich tried to escape the railroad only for Manfred to catch him at a pair of buffers, the former armored engine wanting the ex-nazi to join him on spreading fascism on Sodor and bring it all back, yet some troublesome trucks overhear the news, having cops, military, news choppers and more catch him and Manfred. Both engines are currently under federal storage.

Krillbert the Popsicle Streamliner
Krillbert was a streamliner funded by the McKrogestle Food Company™ to promote their Mr. Bushmill’s popsicles, Krillbert would pull streamlined passenger trains to make passengers take interest in eating their spaceship-shaped popsicles as he raced on the main line, racing past Gordon and driving the engine insane, Gordon one day would challenge Krillbert to racing up his hill, both engines pumping pistons to show their passengers who was the better engine, Krillbert was winning and accelerating to where he would be going down Gordon’s Hill at well past 125 mph, only to accelerate faster and faster towards Wellsworth station, only to smash into James’ oil tankers, thankfully none of the crewmen or James were hurt, but Krillbert, multiple passengers and his crewmen were burnt to a crisp after the fires were extinguished, many survived and sued McKrogestle for damages.

The Nintendo Game Engine
Nintendo during the 90’s had lots of secret experimental game systems to work with the Game Boy, Super Nintendo and N64 during the midst of it all, aside from the Virtual Boy, there was the Game Bike, Game Car, Nintendo Satellite, a flying saucer that would have kids flying all over the world, basically Earthbound Go, Mario Kart Go, Legend of Zelda Go and this, the Nintendo Game Engine, what would be the precursor to the Gamecube was made to play VR and other games on the go, it could be played by kids while riding the train or even engines themselves, Thomas managing to unwrap it and gathering cartridges to play Mario, Star Fox, Earthbound and more, mostly experimental games as the Number 1 blue engine raced around the island trying to get the high score or beat the JRPG boss, other engines were soon grabbing it for themselves, the engines were addicted to it’s games, Percy was managing to race a virtual Bowser to Brendam Docks as he accidentally sent the Game Engine fly through the buffers and fall into the stinky sea, engines getting into a steam brawl until Topham had to have every engine stay in their sheds until he could get the Game Engine out of the reef.

Rihanna the Steam Shark
Rihanna was a special submarine engine made in Atlantis for the Trans-Atlantica Railway, delivering freight and people under the sea, the engine scared others from her shape, being made by shark people after all, Vinnie really scared by her. Rihanna would only have the Controller of Obesity speak to her as she did her job pulling her streamlined coaches, racing across branch lines and spooking engines, her rejection was caused by the fact she ate fridge wagons full of fish to eat.

Bennett Bell the Out of Place Victorian Single Engine
When the Caledonian Railway built their famous Single drive locomotive long after the need for such a engine had passed for excursion services a small railway company decided to try and one up the Caledonian and built not just a locomotive with a single drive wheel but also with of the hallmarks of the Victorian age of steam with the front wheels being separate axles and not a proper front swivel bogey.

Lots and lots of brass work and a huge drive wheel. The engine truly felt as if it had been built not more than 20 years after the Rainhill Trials. Unfortunately for the Railway their publicity stunt did not have as great a reception with many finding the locomotive a tad bit too garish with all the brass and so Bennett Bell was sold to the NWR so the engine would not be scrapped. This was actually a good turn of events for the young but antiquated engine as the Fat Controller had him rebuilt to be part of the track inspection fleet and the workmen at Crovan's Gate gave him a warning light in the place where a dome would be to allow engines to avoid danger.

Reason for Rejection: The engine looked too plain in the eyes of Hit and the fact the engine resembled a design recently created by Hasbro made sure Bennett Bell would never appear on the show.

Carla the Compact Tram
Carla is a tram made to be stored in paced sheds and not to take up space, used often for shunting and inter-city work, running in streets plus being able to turn on curves that even Toby couldn’t clear, she was doing her job for years until buses started becoming popular, she was sold to a new Peel Godred tramway, Carla pulled a fleet of open carriages around the town to the most bustling of places, Carla however ran out of steam often because she didn’t have water tanks or even a coal bunker, thus having her refuel each stop, Carla would run out of steam at a level crossing as another engine yet to be determined hit some of her coaches, some cars were hit during the accident and Carla’s lack of judgment on this case got her canned.

The Booster Steam Car
Bringing right out of the Wooden Railway line, Sir Topham Hatt was finally trying on his own to create something useful as Trainmax was selling him, mostly hit and miss for him he had Victor and the entire Steamworks quickly begin building a automated steam engine that would push engines up hills, heavy trains and in case the front engine broke down the steam car could keep on moving. Crusher was an alien robot from the planet Gobotron whom disguised herself as the observation car to a H.S.T. that had the streamlining of a Porsche 956, she along with her fellow evil robots know as the Renegades would disguised themselves as engines, coaches, trucks and more, Crusher would sneak around, hooking herself up to various trains and act as observation or brakevan, however the model of coach she was based on was horribly designed, the doors unable to work, bad windows plus plastic replacing metal in most places, she fell apart many times and only worked in robot mode.

Sarge the Jeep Engine
Sarge was part of the British military during World War II, pulling goods trains or escorting generals to harbors, airfields and army bases, the engine often had machine guns hidden in him as he could shoot German aircraft down or mortars. Sarge spent years shunting coal trucks at a power plant after the war as he had never got a repaint, this is until Top-Fatts found the engine on sale, bringing him over, overhauling him, giving him a new paintjob and soon chuffing in WWII anniversary parades, however one parade Sarge saw a model airplane of a German warplane in the sky, thinking it was Hitler’s return, he fired waves of bullets and scared people as he tried to strike down the radio-controlled airplane, two boys had owned it and were charged with causing Sarge’s flashbacks.

Rex-Treme the Super Steamer
Rex was made by a Kickstarter/Patreon startup company “21st Century Steam™” in a old engine shed to re-invent the steam locomotive, taking eighteen years of funding, he was soon brought to steam and shown the many new features that could resurrect steam power, a properly insulated boiler, re-circulation, streamlining, a new type of whistle that sounded harmonic, high-tech safety valves, L.E.D. headlight, internal saddle tanks, oil compression, computer controls, electric braking, front-view cameras, Rex-Treme was said to be the future, he was tested at Knapford, having him race Connor and Caitlin all the way to Ariesdale, during the race, Rex-Treme smashed level crossing gates, his smoke got in his driver’s face due to a design flaw that was never noticed, his front end coming off the track and onto another one for an unwarranted drift, Rex felt his wheels spark as his engineer tried to put his brakes, causing him to spin off track.

Babe Ruth the Baseball Bat S.M.U.
Babe Ruth was named after the famed baseball player, Baldwin Locomotive Works was trying to invent a new idea in locomotive operation, giving him a forwards cab, his design having his tender built into him with a coach, making him into a steam multiple unit, what was strange was that some pipes formed what looked like a handle for a bat, thus his namesake, Babe would do commuter services and freighters right until the 50’s, left in a scrapyard until Stephen Hatt bought him and brought him over, Babe Ruth would soon pull trains about the island, Babe was made of a Titanium shell, meaning he could ram other engines and cars off the tracks, often getting into steamy vs. diesel fights with his war cry “Play Ball!” going demolition derby on diesels, Sir Topham Hatt was annoyed that his grandson brought over what was a MMA fighter on rails.

Jeff the Vertical Piston Engine
Jeff was British Railway’s secret attempt at reviving steam, his vertical pistons made as a test for extra power for switching cars around, Jeff managed to star in a Monty Python sketch once and made people laugh, the engine would be sent to Sodor on loan, he would be getting trains set up for Henry, Hiro, Emily and others, Jeff seemed to be really useful, that is until you find out about his addiction to his MySpace, Facebook and other blogs, thus ruining his workload.

Gong-Gu the Rickshaw Engine
Gong-Gu was built in China as some wackjob’s idea of a proper steam engine, oddly enough he worked well, he had a convertible roof, smokestack too high to cause smoke problems, air conditioning, coal and water not having to travel too far, it was clear he was based on the 1800’s novel the Steam Man of the Prairies. Gong-Gu was sent to Sodor as steam was making it’s way out of China as it modernized, the engine would chuff around pulling his trains, white people were offended by this and demanded Gong-Gu should be censored.

Thrust the Rocket Racer Engine
A villainous rocket bullet engine, Thrust arrived on the Island for the next Great Race, having tons of gadgets he would be able to cheat in the race, placing tons of tricks and traps all over the main line as he would remotely activate ‘em all, normally ending up backfiring. The rocket engine for a while would do passenger duty after the race, problem was the fact rocket engines like him take off quickly and have the passengers stuck in their seats from sinking in.

Creepy Pete the Coupe Engine
Creepy Pete was another Great Race engine, looking like a haunted house on wheels, Pete would pull onto the starting line, armed with all sorts of things, a feral dragon from the roof to star fires, spider guns to web up engines, Phantoms for smokescreen and other frightening things. After the race he was often traveling the countryside pulling the mail train, often triggering ghost engines to appear more frequently and scaring people left and right.

Albert the Amazing Transforming Engine
Albert the “Amazing Convert-A-Motive” was one of the most gadget-loaded engines in the new Great Race, able to transform into various vehicles, hover over water, guns and cannons for combat, radars, rail mines and more, normally undoing whatever Thrust had planned during the race. After the race, Thrust would operate as part-time engine, part-time bus, part-time crop duster, part-time yacht and just be working all the time, Albert broke down after a full week to transporting people.

Barney the Crimson Haybailer Engine
Barney was a experimental German propeller engine sent to participate in the Great Race, armed with a machine gun and able to jump over obstacles, making him a powerful player despite only having two tricks up his sleeves, Barney would zoom around the Island and pass other engines with ease like Hugo. After the race, he was used to pull some slate to Brendam, only problem that his propeller was blowing wind but he was barley going anywhere, Topham realizing that he would have to push the trains and thus not be able to see ahead of him, not to mention lack of Autocoach synchronizing.

Seline the Fancy Tank Engine
A femme fatal on the track, always getting her makeup done and paintwork before the race so she wouldn’t look like she came out of a coal mine, Seline often just sprayed her spray tan, lotions and other comedic products on the other racers, causing oil slicks all around the track. After the race she would take passenger trains on the Little Western, unaware that boys were fighting for her love all the time, causing mass confusion and delay.

Briggsby the Army Steampunk Special Camelback Engine
Briggsby was a import engine during WWII fighting on the German battlefront, gunning down German tanks and aircraft plus rolling down soldiers who were unlucky enough to fall onto the tracks, years afterwards he joined the Great Race, his military-grade weaponry would help him in nailing other engines to catch first place. After the race he would act as a anti-terrorist guard and keep trains safe, however he did mistaken a Indian man for Osama Bin Laden as he had a biffed turban plus he had no razor with him, firing his cannon and nailing a delicatessen, meat flew everywhere.

Mac the Bulletproof Gangster Engine
An engine who was part of Capone’s railroad mafia, had seating for eight people in his cab, had bulletproof streamlining plus machine guns attached to him, Mac was often the “Wheelengine” for most bank robberies, quickly taking off with the loot and racing through the City of New York with police cars, blimps and angry engines going after him. Mac managed to escape the law and even found himself one day in the Great Race, his guns and armoring were able to give him a method of race-battling as he drove at getaway speeds. After the race Mac would pull express trains, however his crewmen had managed to steal over millions of pounds in stolen electronics, diamonds, jewelry and other things, that and helping engines who were smuggling things around the island.

Clydeswell the Arkansas Chugabug Engine
Another Hillbilly invention, Clydeswell was built to be a cheap-to-run and maintain steam engine, the little engine was popular with kids, he would join the Great Race as he was seen to have great speed, Clydeswell would be unarmed, having to dodge every attack, he was considered physically weak in the combat department. After the race he was pulling vans and trucks about the island, often helping in the Blue Mountain Quarry as he loaded trucks and hauled them out, however he would get hit by Thrust as the signalman had forgotten about how fast rocket engines go, the Chugabug’s parts flying everywhere on impact.

Jean the Terrific Streamliner
Jean was straight out of the Santa Fe, pulling the Superchief from Chicago to Los Angles with his amazing pulling power and speed, he would join the Great Race and manage to outrun other engines without the usage of combat gadgets, having proper air intake as he outran fellow engines. After the race he would be pulling trains to Ulfstead Castle with Connor and Caitlin, however he tended to outrun the both of ‘em, causing his coaches to snap off and roll off the tracks and hit every tree in the way.

Chuck the Sawtooth-Geared Engine
Chuck was working in Alaska pulling trains of logs down from logging camps to connecting stations down to the states, he was even built with some wooden parts in him as he hauled logs all around, as he joined the Great Race, he would use his saws to his advantage to climb steep grades, slice apart other engines and use local trees as fuel supply. After race he would work on Misty Island helping Bash, Dash and Ferdinand do their duties only to get hit by Old Wheezy and sent flying into the ocean.

Jasper the Steam-Diesel Hybrid Engine
This engine was created as attest of mechanical might, based on the Hit fan-film about Toby, Jasper was to be what obsolete everything steam and diesel, able to pull tons of trucks at high speed, Jasper even went as far as to shunt entire trains and clean entire railyards, making it easy for engines to grab what they needed and then head out. However it was discovered he was kidnapping engines and hauling them over to the other railway for scrap metal, Topham having a derailer set up to have him taken down and his wheels removed.

Ali was built by a wizard to be able to run on a flying carpet instead of wheels, having him given small magic generators to have his driving wheels keep him afloat, Ali would fly into Sodor and pull trains with ease as he had no friction and could travel like a Steampunk Maglev, what stopped him from being featured was that a rival magic carpet engine Jafar came in and rammed him down, causing quite the magical brawl.

Simple Simon the Saloon Car
Simon was a French-made saloon car with a heavy assortment of drinks inside of him, people getting hammered as he was pulled in late-night trains, making it more convenient for passengers to get some fine wine on the way to a party to be “Loosened up” as it were, however the bar unions were not pleased with Simple Simon as some guys lit the poor coach on fire and after the fire trucks came and put out the blaze, he was pretty screwed up after that.

Ravus the Crappy Passenger Car

Dezzy was a car made for cement mixing on the go, he would be taken to various construction sites to have cement poured in, Harvey bought him out to add to his construction company, Dezzy was also frowned upon by Hit as he appeared to be like Dizzy from Bob the Builder.

Stossel the Steam Pogo Stick
Stossel was a prototype of the original spring stilt, A.K.A. the Pogo stick, built by George H. Big Smoke the Bloated Engine
Big Smoke was a fat drink of water who worked in a town called San Andreas pulling passengers around, affiliated with the "Grove Street Family" he was involved in a number of locomotive shootouts, selling drugs and of course eating way too much. The Equally-Fat Controller would buy him over as Big Smoke was soon put to work, however he was always sneaking around eating anything in a refrigerator van, Topps was annoyed, not wanting any competition, however luck, or bad luck in this case as Big Smoke had his friend C.J. help him chase some mythical consist called "The D@mn Train" all around the island, containing the legendary two number 9's a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two 45's, one with extra cheese and a large soda. Sheldon the Baby Carriage
Sheldon was made to haul really young engines that had not grown into their line of gauge, the small carriage was brought to Sodor to be used for transporting baby engines, many engines were in question about the possibility of "Baby engines" never remembering being infants or being held in human arms, however it was discovered that Sheldon was ordered by the Arsedale engines so that they could were bonnets and act like toddlers and travel cheaply around the world, making everyone furious when they figured it out, poor Sheldon felt like crap that he was essentially made for a scam.

Rail Ark of Fujin
A.K.A. Boreas, one of three engines that were bought by Sir Topham that was an otaku with a "Cool" nickname, Boreas would have a series of pseudo-Japanese coaches set with him, he was made to be eco-friendly, able to use wind to charge him up and while moving become further charged, essentially another perpetual motion engine, however fall leaves got in his wind turbine and clogged his generator up good.

Rail Ark of Rajin
A.K.A. Zeus, another one of three engines that were bought by Sir Topham that was an otaku with a samurai-sounding title, Zeus was powered by Tesla-styled coils with a emergency pair of steam boilers, the tesla coils were done with coils at the sides of the track that would wirelessly transfer energy, however this became a major expense and a danger to anything around the coils, birds getting shocked, as well as people, rain shorting out the coil poles and power plants having to work overtime to get Zeus running, causing local brownouts.
