I prefer her with magenta eyes actually.

Red is actually better since I was an animation graphic student and studied color balance, red gives better attention and balance. Magenta actually takes the attention away and make Vinyl look "flat" or couldn't sell out.

I went with Magenta as its her canon eye colour.

It is canon, so my theory for the red eyes would be red color contact lenses. Additionally, red eyes attract stallions whereas magenta keeps a low profile.
