Why did she had to be so clueless? Name let out a frustrated sigh ad she looked at her bandaged ankle. Three days ago she was playing tag with Luffy, Chopper and Ussop. Everything was fine until she tripped over and felt, twisting her ankle in the process. Everyone thought she didn´t see the barrel, but (Name) knew better. It was a big and innocent grin of a dark haired male what made her collide with the cask.

Damn Luffy and his naïve charms

“(Name) are you ready? Do you need something?” asked Nami as (Name) was sitting in the swing of the deck

“I have everything: Bikini, towel, book and sunglasses. Thanks Nami” the (e/c) eyed girl answered smiling as she got up, standing with the crutches.

The straw-hat pirates had just landed in another island. It seemed very calm and had a nice beach so the crew agreed on relaxing there for the day. The two women walked towards the rest.

“Here I go!” Luffy exclaimed as he jumped into the seashore, being followed by an excited Chopper.

“Luffy calm down. Remember you get weak with the water” said Ussop as he landed on the beach just in time to help Luffy to walk to where the ocean didn´t reach the sand.

“That idiot is never going to learn, isn´t he?” sighed Sanji as Franky, Chopper and Brook descended. The blonde cook turned around to see the three females “Nami-swan, Robin-chwan, (Name)-chwan! How beautiful the three of you look. I can´t wait to see you in your swimsuit!” He yelled as a trail of blood slipped from his nose.

“Shut up and move!” Nami said as she hit him in the head before jumping into the beach. Robin chuckled as she followed her.

(Name) leant out trying to figure out how she could go there. Before she could think anything something grabbed her. The (h/c) haired girl looked up to see Zoro, as he was carrying her bride style.

“It seemed you needed some help” was the only thing he said when they went to the sand.

“Thank you” (Name) spoke as he let her go. She support herself with the crutches and started walking clumsily in the sand.

“Don´t mention it, woman” responded the swordsman as he went to sit against a tree in the shadow.

As (Name) made her way towards the rest of the crew, she admired the beauty of that natural paradise. The water was calm and very crystalline, you could see some fish swimming near the seashore. The fine sand made the walk barefoot very enjoyable. At the end of the beach, there were large and big rocks, where the water collide with them making a lot of foam.

“Do you like it?” asked Robin from her chair. She and Nami where all ready with the towels spread out and their clothes in their bags, wearing only their bikinis.

“Yes, it´s beautiful!” (Name) sit in another chair and took off her shirt. She started applying sun cream in her skin as she watched Chopper and Luffy run from one side to another one. She loved watching her friends having a good time.

The (h/c) haired girl enjoyed a good time reading her current book, enjoying the adventure, magic and mysteries of it. After an hour or so, she look up from it to see Nami coming back from the sea.

“It seems that Luffy, Ussop, Franky and Chopper are going to explore the rocks” the navigator commented watching them.

“I wish I could go too” (Name) expressed longingly turning her head as the orange haired girl “Bad luck I twisted my ankle” she cursed, not realizing the sly smile that appeared on Nami´s face

“That can be helped” she said and when the (e/c) eyed girl watched her friend´s smile, she got chills in her back. Whatever Nami was plotting… it would be bad.

“Whatever you´re thinking, remember I don´t owe you money” (Name) exclaimed frightened.

“Luffy!” the navigator yelled making him turn his head towards them curiously “Come here!” she asked. As he came closer, (Name) couldn´t stop herself of thinking how handsome he was with those trunks and that unbuttoned shirt

“What is it? We are going to explore so hurry up!!” Luffy inquired interested but also impatiently

“Let´s go then (Name)!” he exclaimed excitedly smiling widely towards her. The (h/c) haired girl could feel how her cheeks started to burn. She bit her lower lip timidly.

“Listen until I have finished idiot!” the orange haired girl yelled “She can´t walk because of her ankle. Would you mind to carry her?” she asked as (Name) blushed. Nami couldn´t have asked that

“Sure!” Luffy answered happily, not giving the (h/c) haired girl the chance to refuse “Here” he turned and bend slightly, his back facing her.

Nami helped (Name) to stand up and when she wanted to say something, the navigator pushed her gently, making the (e/c) eyed girl fall into his back. Out of reflexes, she wrapped her arms around his neck as the dark haired male straightened himself, catching her legs with his hands. (Name)´s cheeks turned crimson as she inhaled his scent.

“Have fun” exclaimed from behind Nami with a knowing smile. (Name) couldn´t help but think how much she hated and loved the navigator at the same time.

Luffy was running to where the rest of the group were when (Name) realized the sun was on its highest position.

“Oh no! I have forgotten my hat” she said worried that she might have headache after. When it was so sunny and hot she needed to wear a hat or relax in the shadow from time to time

“Want to go back?” the straw-hat captain asked.

“No, I don´t want to slow you more. Don´t worry Luffy” (Name) answered.

“I got it!” exclaimed him excitedly as he stopped abruptly. The (e/c) eyed girl was going to ask as the dark haired male raised one hand to his head. Before (Name) knew it, she felt something a little bit rough in her head. Her eyes widened as she realized…

“That way you don´t have to worry about not having a hat” he beamed happily.

The (h/c) haired girl couldn´t control her blush once again as he turned his head to look at her. Their faces were only inches apart and (Name) could only stare at his naïve brown eyes, noticing it was the first time she had the chance of looking at him so closely. Once again, her heart went crazy. She could feel herself being drowned into those innocent and warm brown eyes and the (e/c) eyed girl thought about how near his lips were from hers

How would they taste?

“Uh? (Name)? (Name) are you all right?” Luffy asked confused tilting his head.

“Y-yeah, I´m sorry Luffy…” she said awkwardly. She bit her bottom lip, embarrassed at her own thoughts “Are you sure about letting me you hat? I know it´s very important for you” (Name) inquired unsure.

“It´s my treasure but you´re very important for me too!” the dark haired male stated grinning widely “Keep it safe (Name)” Luffy requested as he returned to walk, looking at his front and returning his hand onto her leg to keep her in place

As he continued to walk, (Name) touched gently the beloved straw hat as a shy smile was painted in her face. A warm sensation started to flow in her heart as the (h/c) haired girl knew that gesture was very special. Unconsciously, she gripped her arms tighter around Luffy´s neck

“Thanks for trusting me, Luffy” she whispered tenderly as her cheek was pressed against his in an affectionate manner. A sweet display that hid deep and strong feelings for that dark haired male.

“Of course! We´re nakamas after all” He laughed happily.

“Oi! Luffy! (Name)! Hurry up” they heard Chopper yell from the rocks

“Ah! Come on, we´re not getting behind! Hold on (Name)” Luffy pouted childishly as he started to run.
