Do you think Fereldans actually crop their dogs' ears? I can't think of a single breed that's born with its ears standing straight up like mabaris' do.

You might be right, the last time I saw a German Shepard puppy (well, a full-blooded one), was when I was very small. But I know our Shiba Inu mix had standing up ears at 2 months.

We've got a white german shepard and his ears stick up. I love how it makes him look the alert guard dog even when he's sleeping.

Yes, we nicknamed her the little wolf, she's half Shiba Inu and half Australian Cattle Dog (or so the vet thinks), and she's named after Tasslehoff Burrfoot from the Dragonlance books.
