I really like what you were trying to achieve in this piece; however, it just doesn't "pop" for me. The colours are nice, and the contrast between the duck and the water works, but it just seems so dull. Some photographs make me go "wow" just from the movement so perfectly capture inside them, and here, whilst the duck is clearly moving its head and beak, it just doesn't scream out movement to me - sorry.
Like I said, I love the colours and the contrast, especially how serene the water looks, and its reflection. You've also captured some form of optical illusion as well, as the water in the background looks like it's a wall? Haha, it's cool whatever it is XD
I'm super impresed by the general quality of the photo. It's so crisp given that the subject is clearly moving a lot. I especially love the little droplets of water which have been splashed around.
Overall, this piece is lovely, but could do with more life, more movement.
