Zip your mouth! The use of color is especially effective in this most interesting work. The deliberate contrast of similarly colored shapes with variable geometric shapes sets up a tension that culminates in the zigzag mouth, the mail focal point. The red shirt, even with its bright cadmium color, becomes a resting place between the round spheres above and the bars below. An interesting effect of the color is to make the eyes pop and become almost three dimensional or maybe dement-sional.
