Here's Scooter McStallion, myself as a "brony".His cutie mark's a Roswell alien head (his specialty's paranormal investigation) and he wears a necklace that has Mjölnir, Thor's hammer, on it. He's also afraid of bats.
Originally, I made him into an Earth pony, but being a Pegasus just seems cooler- and why is that? Because you can friggin' FLY when you're a Pegasus

I made my ponysona a pegasus too, cuz pegasi are awesome. I was also planning on giving mine a necklace like you did, 'cept mine's gonna be an enchanted silver one with a runic inscription... so I can use it's magic to pick up closeby objects so I don't have to use my teeth. It just looks unhealthy seeing non-unicorns using their teeth to write and stuff. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Some of the fanart that have been floating around are pretty good, but there's also that type of fanart that anthropomorphizes the characters for weird sexy pinup-style pieces, then again, I've been anthropomorphizing some of my female animal characters for an anthro pinup series, so I really shouldn't talk
