Description Lookie here... first person avshooter... Go look at the code if you dare .
Might still toy with it some more, but it's already pretty loaded. Adding 3D scoped objects is pretty much impossible due to synching and occlusion problems.

(exams are excellent creativity boosters, you just don't have enough time to realise all those ideas )

Lol, this really wasn't intended as a visualiser... more like a "how nuts can you go with AVS" thing. Of course most of it is again very fake, but it's hardly noticable

Cool movement and nice idea but defenitely needs some different, perhaps responsive texturing....

I knew you were John Carmack.... that explains why you are so damned good at coding.

Does it use a binary spaced partition to store the map data?

BTW.. that counter is very neat.. I was contemplating for a while making a superscope text effect where you could set a var to choose the character displayed.. but I gave up after coding about 7 letters into it.

Definetly love this one
Wolfenstein was one of my favourite games in those days.
Now that someone could do a 'AVSupaplex' preset, that would be
Doom would be nice too...

It's still a music visualization, and it needs some kind of music response in my opinion.

It's weird that you didn't use your own Picture Render II

Heheh, nice comment

Haven't you ever played Wolfenstein (the first one) ~skupers ? Making it look "disco" would ruin it totally! All power to the classics!

Wow, that's an amazing dynmov. This is just a very very great preset. I have just one idea. What about changing the bmp file to a white wall and then multiplying with d=0; movemented one dot SSC which changes color? That way it would be more responsive and even cooler.
