Chilly, demonic look in the girl's eyes. This theme "God can take us any time," is pretty much universal, and therefore effective. This reminds me a lot of "The Sword of Damacles" from Greek mythology, which makes pretty much the same statement. Your title "Puppet" suggests even less control though, as if ALL our actions are subject to a higher force, rather than just the time of our death.

I share a lot of that belief. I know it's very "hip" to attack religion these days, but make your attackers go on the defense. According to philosophers like Immanuel Kant and Hegel, the belief in a higher power and ultimate purpose is as rational as the disbelief thereof... in other words, neither the existence nor non-existence of higher purpose can be proven, so rather than argue dogma, just ask people who call you "irrational" to justify their own positions, rather than justifying your own... more often than not I have found their attacks stem from a deep and often irrational hatred for religion which belies the "tolerance" they so fervently (religiously?) preach. These anti-religious zealots preach that the religious viewpoint is oppressive, while also preaching absolute tolerance for all belief systems but those which go against their own viewpoint... Deliciously ironic...

i simply love this manip..well done simple yet effective, i however do not like the thin black lines going down to her shoulders and her hands. i like the noose very much...remove thos lines and i will give you the fav...DEVIANTWATCH too tho
