The barbed wire adds to her sadness, then NMM is VERY creepy, this artwork is truly and utterly magic
Now, I'd like to speak of this, utterly, horrifying, and meaningful idea.
Luna is turning into NMM, correct?
NMM wants to hurt Celestia.
So NMM locks away Luna in this world, to this picture, then she added the barbed wire to keep her in. NMM as hinted in the description wants to make Tia go insane, so then She does that and returns to Luna's body, and carry's out the Nightmare Era.

Wo when I first saw this on bing images, I just WANTED to find it! It has an amazing feel to it and is dark, I LOVE dark. It has incredible detail as well, giving peaple a good impresion on what kind of art you do. That Nightmare Moon is both creepy and incredible along with how you drew the barbed wire wraping around Luna. I mean just wow! Luna is also drawn icredibly well, with that mane, it looks so real. Even the blood marks look real. Nightmare Moon's eyes are so terifyingly good that you could scare anyone.

i like the consistency with the barbed wire digging into certain soft and hard tissue. like how it digs into the stomach and leg skin but not the shin and wings because they are bone and solid tissue great attention to detail very nice piece.
