Here we have the setup to the game's story. Technically, it's a sequel to my last Zelda game, Time's Menagerie. Unknown events have lead Link to believe the best choice is for him to return to his childhood. Saria does her best to stop him, but he does not heed her words and goes through with his choice. The result?
History pretty much gets screwed up. Wars that ended certain ways suddenly change in outcome. All of Hyrule's past is unmade and chaos is unleashed. The player will then choose how Hyrule's fate will play out now that the Hero of Time has vanished and is no longer present to safeguard the land from evil. Depending on what race you choose to command and what choices you make, the ending of the game can be radically different. You could have the Kingdom of Hyrule defend against the forces of the Gerudo, or you could become corrupt with power and have Princess Zelda essentially become a tyranical matriarch and conquer of all Hyrule. Likewise, even the humble Kokiri can rise to power and destroy all of Hyrule should you choose to follow that path. Each race does have natural tendencies, but ultimately you will have free will to guide each race and determine who saves Hyrule, or who destroys it.

Indeed the player will have a change to recruit Kazakk if playing as the Hylians. It's possible for him to end up on the Ordonian side though.

I also DL'd the beta! I'm sad that I don't have the Kokiri yet to play as, but Damn, I'm having so much fun I don't care! This is so much fun! I had a BAD day at college, and thought my day was doomed to crap... not anymore! I'm also glad you took a stance against the latest toon link games that prove Link was Glorious once, but now is a cartoonish form of his former self. I guess skyward sword might be commendable, TP was too, but Link has ultimately fallen from Oot. Thank you for restoring it (his glory). I can't wait for the Kokiri's completion and am having alot of fun!

The Kokiri should be ready soon, I've been posting updates of them on the forum where the download was (I did just about an hour ago actually). I'm glad today ended up being awesome on your end.
Sadly my so called "stand" has actually received some negative reaction. People have accused me of saying bad things about the games after OoT in my trailer (which is false... I said nothing bad about them. I feel they are just not as epic because they are more personal stories that are not on a grand scale).

I saw a little of that too. I personally think the anonymity of the internet makes you wanna troll, and what you created was so fantastical and amazing, they just don't get it. Also, you claimed it was in your trailer: "The most Epic Zelda game of all time." They are confusing that sentence with "The greatest Zelda game of all time." Oot, was the greatest IMO, and it was fairly epic, but the epic you mean is vast, big, violent, and glorious, am I right? You mean epic as in a Huge big awesome bloody game. but Oot was a bit more in platforming. Know that your fan base here demands you continue with your epicness, and know that those guys on your stand are probably playing it, having a good time, all the while trolling you.

After debating with people I'm pretty sure it's because they are confusing "epic" with "best." Fanatics get so upset when the toon games are put down and yet they don't realize how bad they themselves are for putting down those of us who'd rather spend hard earned money on something not so kiddish.

I normally hate time travel plots for this reason, hence why I put myself up to the challenge of writing one. I can say that the other games indeed did have a point and will still be relevant.

The only quirk I have is with some parts of the grammar, but that's because I am a horrible grammar nazi. Saria should say "Pleaded with him," not "Pleaded to him."

Arg I was told this before I even posted it...
I always thought pleaded "with" was a two sided case, where the other party listens and negotiates. Pleaded "to" I always thought was one sided. Basically one person pleads their case and the other totally ignores it.

well even though you got the battles down and the 4 primary races finished, I have a few questions I'd like to ask
Will there be a campange mode? If so will it be anything like the Medevil Total war Campange mode?
Are their any other Races that are like "Bounus" Races like the Twili or SkullPeeps?
andlastly will some battles be faught in familure areas Example, Hyrule Castle or Death Mountan or Kokori Forest?

- There will indeed be a campaign mode. It will be a lot like the grand campaign from Medieval 2
- There are lots of NPC races and mercenaries in the game that I felt would not be able to create withstanding armies on their own.
- Locations from the Zelda games will indeed be where the battles take place.

So, I'm guessing that as Link, you'll get to choose your faction and try to change the course of Hyrule's future by changing the outcomes of big battles, or something, right? So does that mean Link's a hero for every faction, then? Also, what would happen if he ran into his ancestor? The one Saria loved? Or his past self, even? I... Smell... PARADOX!!!
And I have to say that the Kokiri Wolfos Riders are my second favorite unit yet! The first definitely has to be the Dodongo Riders, cuz you just can't get more beast than that!
