Zbrush has a lot of easy to use tools right out of the box, so in minutes you can start modifying default projects and feel like you are doing something.  There is even a lower cost light version ZbrushCore. 

Please note any mastery will require time to get used to the 'unique' user interface layout, so it is down to repetition to remember where tools and features are hidden.
