Description 3-4 hour painting (amount of time doc was actually open). Wasn't able to count the timing properly since I did this on-and-off for days, which basically means I actually did it for maybe 3 or 4 days. (lol!)

I'm hoping to create a more rigid stop watch monitoring of my painting speed. If anyone has a recommendation for a stop watch plugin for PS, please comment. As for the picture itself...

-----

Odyvir's End is a massive stone fortress, carved out of the edifice of a mountain in the barren highlands. Forgotten tales once mention of an empire at the brink of destruction using the nigh-inaccessible and impenetrable location as a last stand against an ancient foe. What followed was buried and lost in the sands of history.

Today, the Imperialis Auricus exiles criminals, heretics, and filibusters to the fortress, never to escape. The desolate and cold terrain presses a bastion of survivors against the fortress, its deeper interiors home to strange horrors that have slowly replaced its original occupants. Tales, however, suggest relics of ancient times, legendary weapons and tomes of sacred knowledge, exist in the fortress's bottom-most, luring brave adventurers into the fortress.

None have braved so far as to leave with a tale of success.

-----

The setting is intentionally bleak and grand just enough for a nihilistic loot RPG where you get jobs from characters more or less moralizing than you and gives you reason to beat the crap out of anything that moves (and watch them barf glittering piles of gold) without turning into a bad person!

Nice work, it makes one look around and like what one sees. It could maybe use more crisp details but that's nitpicking, it has good overall appeal from the light and colors....

Its sad to me that people can create amazingly beautiful works of art like this and I can't even make a simple 2-d tree.

I have a timer plugin for CS6 but unfortunately for the life of me I can't remember where I got it from :/ and if it works as a stopwatch as well.
