Hello!! I saw you requested critique and I couldn't help but writing something down. I hope you don't mind! (:
I like how much attention you paid to details; the shade her tail throws against the uneven rock-surface, for eample.
Regarding the anatomy I don't have much to criticise; apart from the (from the viewer's POV seen as) right leg which seems to be moved a bit too far to the left and a little small and the right eye which also - it's usually more apparent if you mirror your drawing - seems a tad too small and slim, there's not much else that I'd deem note-worthy.
Next, the impact: I get that this piece is intended to simply show Bluestar in her natural habitat but I couldn't help but appreciate how her careful posture and slighty suspicious gaze in this depiction reflect part of her personality in the early books of the first series. It feels very immersive (unusual angle, the viewer seems to be her height and sitting right in front fo her) and also sort of nostalgic. <3
Technique-wise it would have been nice to see more different textures; the brush you used for the drawing works great with rock texture, well with characters and a bit eh with the leaf structures in the far background, in my opinion. They seem to be shaded at random and treated as if they were one big surface instead of many small individual ones. As the rock Bluestar is sitting on does have a line-art, I'd personally have vaguely outlined the leaves (and perhaps also the trees for consistency?) with a smaller size brush and coloured them solildy like any other element.
Although I personally think you could have used highlights more generously on Bluestar and not just right alongside the linework, this works nicely, too and kind of reminds me of the styles used in the illustrations of old comic/childrens books. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/m/m… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="578" title="Meow :3"/>
Anyway, this is very pleasing to look at and a great portrait of Bluestar in my opinion! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/> I hope my critique was of use for you. ^w^

LOVe her expression. Like she won't take shit from nobody. We see Bluestar as broken so often
we tend to forget how badass she was in her days. Great pose and expression!

Hm, true. I only read the beginning of that book but I don't like her backstory with the Riverclan kits, too. Although she had no choice, as Thistleclaw was about to become deputy and we all know who was his failed apprentice.

true, but she was the cause of a lot of her problems. if she didn't mate with oakheart snowfur would be alive and there would be no mosskit to mourn over. she was very obsessive and jealous of her sister also.
