Description Well She got me into an new obsession and its also her fault too

I can blame other people I don't have an Addiction.

truth is I did a lot more little sketches of Lucile today until my brain was rattling around for ideas and looking at fashion Era when it jogged my memory how great Charles Dana Gibson is so I thought it be great if I did an ink drawing of Lucille as close as I could to the Gibson Girl style. But Studying someone elses style made me realize two, One Monster in Paris is in the Edwardian Era (Not the Victorian) I maybe spliting hairs but Lucilles Silhouette is more like a Gibson Girl than anything else. And OW OMG why did do this to women Charles WHY? [link] Yes he influence the fashion of the 'S-corset' Era. The Kidney and organ crushing corsets. that's all I could think looking at the references was "oh my god why?"

So was it worth it to torture myself with Technical pens? Hell yeah. few mistakes but I love how it turned out.

Is it just me or do all the Gibson girls look like their trying to do the smouldering eyes looks but to me it looks like they took Mrs.Winslows Soothing Syrup. (if you don't know what soothing syrup is look it up)

Anyway I'm super Excited for this movie and everybody else is which makes me happy.

La Seine: [link] (oh god this song is like Cocaine I can't wait for the next line) ha, Zing

Tomorrow I'll take a crack at drawing Francoeur and the other male cast. I wonder what style I should choose for the guys?

Man I am super excited about this movie as well, but then again I am pretty obvious in my love for human-monster romances and awesome animations.

Your lines and hatching are so nice! And all those strands of hair, aaaaah, so cool.

yes, super excitement though My excitement is stifled by school work that needs to be done or I would draw more Lucille and Francouer.

Thanks I took some liberties with the line style and got to use my real technical pens which are now my favorite fine line inking pens I will never have to buy a stupid .005 Micron ever again. But I was sad I wasn't able to figure out the hair shading that the gibson girls-1950's style of hair inking that was very common I love that inking technique

I still haven't quite gotten away from cheap technical pens, but I'm starting to experiment more with disposable brush pens and I've heard a lot of good things about them.

I'd say for the long run real Technical pens are the way to go because I've thrown so many .005 microns away because the tip gets fucked up it wears down to fast and microns just in general frustrate me and make me want to throw things across the room and i know in the long run my technical pens are going to save me a ton. Though I would suggest checking the ebay out for technical pen especially the old models because you find some good deals on ebay where the same set I have would have cost what two pens at any art store would. SO check outs the ebays for them they are awesome

thank you I kind of cobbled it together from different Edwardian dresses I referenced.

That's good because I decided what style I want to do him in but may take a while since I'm a Sado-masochist for super tough styles
