My dad actually came close to buying a Starion back in '85. But he was about $100 short, so he went for a Dodge Daytona. (which was okay, since the Daytona was basically a Starion with Dodge badges)

Welp, a year has passed and I've figured out that the Daytona was NOT, in fact, a Starion clone. That would be the Chrysler Conquest.
Nope, the Daytona as it turns out is 100% Chrysler merchandise. (but it still has a 'Bishi engine)
