I make them in Poser, mostly. But I've moved onto Daz Studio, which is the free alternative. Also, photoshop was involved X3
And yes, that is McCloud, or rather... my twisted semi-demonic representation of him.

Nah, that's a custom model I built a long time ago. I'm glad you like her though, she was fun to make. Although I need to make a vastly updated version of Zira pretty soon. Zira's one of my favorite characters from the Lion King movies, so I need to keep her memory going X3

Zira has become my favorite character from Lion King, I kinda wished she had made short work of Simba in the second movie I hated that character change they gave him.Also Zira needs more love indeed.

I have a list of my favorite girls as well, not only in terms of beauty but also in character and Zira is in my list as well. Allthough not in the anthro list, she is in the animal one because to me if you dont like something as it is originally then it is not worthy to like it with a lot of interpretation/innuendo and etc.

I work along the same lines in a sense. I like making these girls, and I absolutely love women X3 Although, I don't necessarily like making something, and especially don't like using it, if I don't know anything about the character. Basically saying, I don't want to misrepresent anyone and come off looking like some raving fantard in the process. Which is why Fifi grins, Zira frowns, Gadget looks questioning, and Jenna is partially surprised. X3
But on another note, I don't like to take anyone too far out of their own element either. I know it's a stretch to make some anthro girls into full on furry girls, but it's my limit. I'm not the type to make characters into completely different things, nor do I like seeing it... Like how you'll see Human Versions of certain characters... for lack of a better example.
Not to say that I'll bash anything of the type, or in that category, it's just not my style, so I have nothing to say about it, if I ever see it.

No, I understand how you feel, we are determined to like what looks like us, os its only naturall to be more attracted to something that at least ressembles us in apearance, walks in two, has human features,can procces thought etc. That is the limit to be attracted to something, to like something doesnt need the reasons I mentioned above. (allthough I would just need the thought procces and her potitive answer at least to go in base 1, I'm that pervented horndog 
Some people claim that fanart is easy because you walk in a pre-determed path, but trying to make the character as it is exactly how would he/she would be/interact takes more than just talent, takes dedication. "The Devil is in the details" as some would say and you are doing a fine good job at "polishing" those details so we all can see them.
And tbh I am all in for human X anthro.

Hmm, I'm more of a speciest actually... I don't really like Human x Anthro unless it only goes in one direction. So, I don't really like Furry girls and human males, whereas I don't mind furry males on human females... *laughs* But, that's just how I'm built.
Although deep down, I prefer furry and furry instead of furry and human.

If you want to consider humans animals that's fine, but I've got a preference for the ones with fur, paws, tails and claws of course.
And hell, even I find the Alien Queen hot. I just have to get past the fact that everything she, and the other aliens, secrete is acidic... I'd figure it out eventually.

To each his own I was going with the biology consesus, allthough the scientific consesus has proven to be wrong numerous of times. I like every girl that has the appearance, interesting character and is willing to be honest, from Zira, to mama Buzzard, from Jessie of Team Rocket to Chun-Li and from Alien Queen to Harpie Lady

lol, I use a lot of programs... Mostly Poser7, UVMapperPro, and Photoshop CS ... something X3. However, I use different programs for building the models and resources I need, and I use Poser to set it all up afterwards.

No, the 3D effect would probably be off lighting, because that actually IS a 3D model. UVMapperPro, allows me to reset, tweak, or create UV's for 3D models based on their geometry. I use the UVMaps to make a texture for the 3D model, then I pose up the model in Poser and render it X3

Zira's always been a favorite of mine, lol, she usually gets treated pretty well, even when she's the enemy.
