I read how much work and effort this took and let me say, it really paid off.
the picture comes alive with all the big and small details you put into it, and there's a real sense of happiness, fun and light in it.
I love Luna dedication into acting plant-like, ginny's laugh out loud' enjoyment and Neville quiet amusement (also cool to see Blonde!Neville. I haven't seen much fanart that draw him as blonde so it's nice to see it here)
love the flowers in the background, they look very pretty and it's cool that you added the Mimbulus Mombletonia cactus.

And yes, for me it's still a bit tough to transition from dark-haired Neville to blonde, but he IS blonde, and that's who I'll always draw him! :> I'm sure I'll get used to that quickly!

Ever considered a tutorial on how you do your backgrounds? I always love them!

Eh not really... I'm terrible at making tutorials x) haha but basically I just take different references for different objects that fit my perspective and draw from them, first the sketch, then block colors, then maybe some light on Luminosity layer mode and shade on Shade layer mode (not sure if Photoshop has those?). and I don't worry about precision AT ALL because then I add some gaussian blur to the background, it blurs it all, hides the imperfections, and makes it seem more real-life-like I guess? And I just play with light in general, I love Luminosity layer mode so so much and use it for a lot of things! (: Yeah, I'm not sure what else I could tell you about the process... you're so amazing at your art I don't even know what new I could tell you!
