Description Canson - Watercolors

Starting here the Magic Series which is greatly influenced by the illustrations from Magic the Gathering. It's focused on fantasy, fantastic beings and scenarios.
Started painting this over some skethes that didn't work so that I wouldn't waste the paper.
My focus here was using the white (which I wasn't used to) and trying to use more paint than I am used to (not the ideal use for watercolors).
I also tried to create some sort of texture on the goblin, which I enjoyed working on.

WOOHOO! GOBLINS!!!! This reminds me of one of my first card, and my first goblin cards, Goblin Tinkerer... Mirage Expansion. And also the Goblin Vandal. Awesome work!

Im happy it could give you some nostalgy, because this drawing was totally made from the nostalgy I was feeling!

I have one... Argh! it was Christmas season too, back in 97 when I saw my cousin's Orcish Settlers and ask to give that card to me. The toasted bread was so epic.

Yeah, thats pretty much the idea! lol : P
When I used to play Magic the Gathering (idk if it changed lately) the goblins were very weak creatures (their strong suit is attacking in groups)
But through this artifact, a simple goblin become something to fear!
