Well, I wish I had gone to art school. It's a great foundation to build from. I still study quite a bit and always bring a sketch pad with me.

dan, you know what it is that i love about your work? its the attention to your details in background elements and furniture. i cant begin to tell you how much time i spend on looking for reference for stuff like that. but the wallpaper in panel 1, the chair in that same panel, the ceiling in the last panel... all great details and they don't go unnoticed.
