Description Mechanical Works PZL-Wola - a Warsaw-based company founded in 1951 under the name of Marcell Nowotka Mechanical Works.

The plants were involved in the production of diesel engines, generating sets and power units. In the years 1959-1967 the engines were made for the Żubr A80. At the end of the first decade of the 21st century, the plant produced 1000 horsepower S-1000 engines for the PT-91M.

The factory has also made many commemorative plaques and memorials (such as the Monument of the Poles Act (1979), the Monument to the Sappers (1975), the Kosciuszko Monument (1985), the Monument to the Little Insurrectionist (1983)).

In 2012, the activity of ZM "Wola" sp. Z o.o., which continues PZL-Wola's activity in the field of civilian products. The Company has acquired the rights to manufacture the Wola "C" engine family (including "H - Henschel", "135", D, DV, VA), generating sets and drive units powered by these engines, including documentation and spare parts production rights. to these products. It runs a service of products d. PZL-Wola S.A. and manufactures products that are fully interchangeable to the ones it has produced in previous years.
