Martha was annoyed to discover that the #7 bus, instead of taking her to bridge club, had dropped her in yet another damn fantasy world.The fauns in the last one had been very polite, but sheβd had to fight that thing with the tentacles off with her handbag.

Well, when you get followed around by giant frog, you tend to get frustrated. Especially when he stares you down every time you throw something away.
"I saw you put that paper in the plastic bin. I'm watchin' you."
Fauns are usually nice. They tend to be the more calm and playful version of the (sometimes) condescending and violent satyr.
